Nice hotel, friendly people, good simple breakfast
Some rooms (in the head-building 1) have no moscito doors which are absolutely very important for sleepy nights, otherwise you'll catch up to 40 every night, very warm rooms airco not included

Beautiful appartements. Cosy, relaxing and quiet. Good swimmingpool, nice beach bar and some really good cocktails. Really nice people and good staff!
Simple but nice and clean. A few hundred meters outside the village which makes it very calm. Taxi to the airport is € 30, if you're lucky you might get it for 25.
Good hotel with nice staff and good rooms. Great breakfast and not a too long walk to restaurants, little supermarkets and car/bike/quad rentals. Walking to the center Harbour is about 20 minutes which we did every night and that's just fine.
Visited Astron for a 12 day holiday at the end of August. At arrival we had to read and sign some house-rules. That felt a little weird. The room was okay, the toilet and shower need a renovation. We couldn't adjust the showerhead and most of the handles had debris (salt?) onto it. The fridge was new! The swimming pool is in good condition and there are enough beds. No need to get up early and claim one. The water is a little salty. We didn't use the bar much. The prices seem to be high compared to the bars / restaurants in the city centre. Karpathos city is about 15 minutes on foot. The closest beach is down the road and is like less than 5 minutes.
