Excellent hotel - perfect location, close to the beach and to the port. It's very classic, tidy, and clean. Service was welcoming and generous (late check out, fresh beach towels every day). Fresh, clean, magnificent breakfast (the coffee-machine and I became best friends) fantastic staff, friendly and funny. And cats, cats all over the place. My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. When I checked in , I thought I had paid a lot for it however there is a real charm with this hotel and basically all of Hydra is expensive so it’s probably inline. Do not let the 3 stars stop you from booking at this hotel - it is absolutely amazing. The hotel location is perfect - not too far from the port and is good for people who cannot walk too long up and down the island. Charming hotel and pretty central to everything. Staff are also friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was at the courtyard (lovely!) but in terms of variety, could be improved. Nevertheless we had a pleasant stay.

Lovely stay on beautiful Hydra Lovely accommodation walking distance from port. Balcony views and close to restaurants. Only comment is that evening was cool , but only thin sheet and bedcover provided.

Rooms are small and there is no where comfortable to sit in the evening. But the location, staff, and lovely courtyard made up for this.

I absolutely loved staying here in Hydra. Visited two years ago and stayed in a pensione around the corner. It was clean, and they made me feel like I was a part of the family. I had a great view from my balcony. My bed was comfortable. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Would absolutely recommend here. The staff was amazing. Really genuine and helpful. The location is top notch! Can walk from the ferry with suitcases no need for Porter/donkey. Right next to a grocery store if you need anything. Bed was a little too hard for my preference, pillows were nice. Room had a Nespresso machine, sink, and large mini fridge with freezer. Very spacious with nice high ceilings...

Beautiful room with a balcony and sea view. Ideal location near the harbor. Spacious, simply decorated  with plates and glasses. Very clean. Great place to stay!

We arrived to find the place deserted. There was a number to call at the reception but no one responded. We later learned this was the “summer number”. Finally we went to the shop next door and the shopkeeper called the owner who contacted the housekeeper. After wasting 3 hours of our half day in Hydra we finally got our room. It was very basic. Very expensive for what we got.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. There are several properties under the same management (you go to another one by the harbour for breakfast), and we felt this one suited us best. It's a convenient location, yet away from the majority of the noise, and the room was spacious and modern, yet in an older building. Our only negative issue was the long walk and steep stairway to reach the breakfast area. It was in a different building 5 minutes away. Some may think it good morning exercise.

This place was quite lovely for a 3 star hotel. The check in service was friendly and helpful with navigating the island, and we had help with our luggage up the stairs (thank you!). I have stayed many many times at Pension Erofili, most recently in September, and I’ve never been disappointed. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. And this year I was surprised with a brand new beautiful large bathroom 👏. The Pension is in the most perfect location - just a short walk from the port yet very quiet. I really loved my stay at Pension Erofili. The staff — and the sweet cat Bella — made the place feel so warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful. I cannot speak highly enough of Pension Erofili and I have stayed many times. We are always warmly welcomed and in fact it feels a little like returning home. The rooms are quiet, immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable. It is also well located in a quiet area but just a short walk from the port. I have recommended Erofili to friends who also agree with me and I can’t wait to return!

Great location so close to the harbour, discrete with a nice courtyard to relax. All the staff was so cool and helpful. I had a comfortable stay. Managed to leave my luggages there in the check out day, and I spent another relaxing day by the beach. Certainly we will return in the following years. Totally recommend to my family and friends.

Visited Hydra from America in May of 2018. Started in the upstairs suite for two nights. Accommodations were very good for the price. The bed was comfortable and the AC was plenty cold. Breakfast had yogurt, eggs, cereal, coffee, OJ, milk and an impressive assortment of pastries costing 8€ per person. The owners were very nice family and accommodative. Very good value for the price. The property is perched high up, some 120 steps up from the harbour. If you don’t feel like carrying your own luggage you can hire the service of a local mule for 20 euros. Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds and room. Very clean. Good breakfast. View from the hotel is lovely. Be aware that there are about 130 stairs from port to hotel! We had to climb them 3 or so times a day, and the first day with suitcases, unless you rent a donkey for 20euro.

Nice hotel in hydra. We stayed in the suite, the most iconic room in the old sponge factory. I just think the outside area could be better structured. Breakfast is ok.

A week before we were due to go to Greece I broke my wrist so we had to cancel our holiday. Bratsera was the only hotel that refunded us our full payment, even though we had booked under the terms of cancellations being non-refundable. The managers were so kind and really helped to ease a very stressful situation.

A truly wonderful oasis in the heart of Hydra. The rooms are comfortable and so charming. Wonderful views and air conditioning! Violetta, Pascalina and Nikos were very friendly and helpful. We are coming back.
