Another great stay at the Mistral. We love this place and can see why so many guests return. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, with comfy beds and great air conditioning. Magnificent accomadation, magnificent hospitality, magnificient breakfast, very clean and comfortable rooms.

Beautiful place just outside of center. It is really quiet and you can reach center of Hydra in just 10 minutes. Breakfast is really nice, the rooms really clean, spacious and nice. One negative is that there is isn't ramp for handicapped or strollers, neither an elevator due to the fact that the building is traditional and keep it like that. Generally Hydra is not the best place for wheelchairs neither...

This is such a beautiful guesthouse on the prettiest of the Greek islands. Although it’s in the town - a few minutes from the port and from the bars and restaurants - it’s incredibly peaceful. The views from the balcony and window are stunning. The apartment is tastefully decorated and everything you need is provided. The hosts are delightful. Our stay at ParadisoRooms in Hydra was marvelous. The room was very close to the port, but the most important was that it was very clean, beautiful with magnificent view. The owner Mr. Spyros was very polite and helpful with our bags. I really recommend it.

What a view!! Even in winter Hydra is beautiful, and our host told us about which restaurants and bar were open (in low season most of the shops and restaurants are closed, obviously). The room was even better then pictures, as they have upgraded them. Gorgeous! We had to walk some stairs, but it was worthy!

Paradiso is literally a paradise on earth! Very well located only a few minutes from Ydra port. The rooms are stunning and the decor reflects the island vibe. Our balcony was just amazing offering us a spectacular view of Ydra village. Last but not least, Mr Spiros, the owner, made us feel like home from the first moment offering us beers at his balcony! Simply awesome! Wonderful and spacious room, very quiet and so clean! Well located and Spiros (owner) is a great host! A reason to visit Hydra again! Definitely a secret treasure in the island. Have to mention that the owner came to pick up from the port and help us with suitcases (both ways - and on the way back to the port (the day of check out).

Wonderfully decorated rooms, they have traveled us to another era in time. Nothing was missing, every detail was perfectly thought of. We have felt like kings on the king size double bed with the most exquisite quality bed linen. Highly recommended for your stay in Hydra!

Fresh, clean, magnificent breakfast (the coffee-machine and I became best friends) fantastic staff, friendly and funny. And cats, cats all over the place. The breakfast staff had one person dedicated to chase cats out of the place all morning. She did do a great job. (Cats are, however, not an endemic problem for this hotel, the entire island is flooded with cats and donkeys, so, do not go to Hydra...

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. When I checked in , I thought I had paid a lot for it however there is a real charm with this hotel and basically all of Hydra is expensive so it’s probably inline. Do not let the 3 stars stop you from booking at this hotel - it is absolutely amazing. The hotel location is perfect - not too far from the port and is good for people who cannot walk too long up and down the island. Charming hotel and pretty central to everything. Staff are also friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was at the courtyard (lovely!) but in terms of variety, could be improved. Nevertheless we had a pleasant stay.

Beautiful room with a balcony and sea view. Ideal location near the harbor. Spacious, simply decorated  with plates and glasses. Very clean. Great place to stay!

We arrived to find the place deserted. There was a number to call at the reception but no one responded. We later learned this was the “summer number”. Finally we went to the shop next door and the shopkeeper called the owner who contacted the housekeeper. After wasting 3 hours of our half day in Hydra we finally got our room. It was very basic. Very expensive for what we got.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. There are several properties under the same management (you go to another one by the harbour for breakfast), and we felt this one suited us best. It's a convenient location, yet away from the majority of the noise, and the room was spacious and modern, yet in an older building. Our only negative issue was the long walk and steep stairway to reach the breakfast area. It was in a different building 5 minutes away. Some may think it good morning exercise.

This place was quite lovely for a 3 star hotel. The check in service was friendly and helpful with navigating the island, and we had help with our luggage up the stairs (thank you!). Ioanna was a great host who provided great information and was a great host. The beach house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was wonderful. The roof top breakfast was outstanding. The views from the roof top was excellent. Great location and excellent staff.

This hotel was the highlight of our entire holiday experience. This is the most beautiful, peaceful place I have stayed at. The breakfast is 100 x better than any other hotel. The staff are amazing. I love your unique property when I visited Greece in fact I didn't even get a chance to stay there. But I did remember it and loved it so much that I sent all my clients they are now. Since I own a travel agency I'm always looking for Unique experiences and your property is definitely one. Maybe one day I'll be able to come back soon and really enjoy it.

I concur, Bratsera is one of the best, cosiest, and most tasteful hotels in Hydra. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

The property is perched high up, some 120 steps up from the harbour. If you don’t feel like carrying your own luggage you can hire the service of a local mule for 20 euros. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable recommending local restaurants. Our room (201) was situated at the end where of the building overlooking the harbour. Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds and room. Very clean. Good breakfast. View from the hotel is lovely. Be aware that there are about 130 stairs from port to hotel! We had to climb them 3 or so times a day, and the first day with suitcases, unless you rent a donkey for 20euro.

Great stay at Hydra. Great stay at Hydra hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, delicious breakfast and lovely staff - thank you Daphne and Anastasia ❤️. There are many steps (100 apparently) to get to the hotel from town so not recommended if mobility is an issue. Daphne assured us it got easier each time!

We highly recommend this place! Hilda was an awesome hostess. She gave us lots of good suggestions for what to do on the island. She made a delicious homemade breakfast! The rooms were spacious and clean! Everything was close to the harbor and the beach. We would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved Hotel Phaedra and Hydra! We stayed in the “budget room” and it was perfect for our quick stay. The hotel staff were all super accommodating and helpful. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The room was clean and fresh, and the bed was super comfy. The location is great, too, being just a couple minutes walk from the harbour, but far enough away to be peaceful during the night.

Simple luxury! Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good. Our room was comfortable, clean, and pretty, steps to quaint streets and wonderful restaurants. I would stay at Angelica again in a second.

A very nice place in the perfect location with the amazing view of the harbor of the brilliant Hydra island. Very reasonable prices and nice service apart from a lunchtime. Anyway, there are many convenient facilities available for the guests. All in all, I do recommend this place for the short and long term staying. I liked it much.

This hotel is one of the most BEAUTIFUL hotels that I have stayed in. I have visited Hydra many times which is included in the 3 island tour from Piraeus, but, I always wanted to stay longer and staying here makes it so very lovely. I am booking for the second year in a row!! --Lisa, United States
