ALERO Seaside Skyros Resort in Skiros

An excellent choice for our family holiday in Skyros. We stayed at a luxury suite with elegant aesthetic and we truly enjoyed our stay. The owners with the staff members were very personable and courteous, we felt that we were genuinely treated as guests, not just customers. It's worth noting that their restaurant provides a variety of very tasteful dishes with locally-inspired recipes. A big "plus" that the resort has direct access to the beach, so you have both a private pool and the sea at your doorstep! A 5-star experience all the way, hopefully we will return soon.

We loved this place. The room was so nicely decorated. It was a surprise to have your own gym room. The breakfast was phenomenal. I loved the little bread basket with jams, honey and coco. We had the little yard and a small pool. My child loved the pool. It was very family friendly. It was so nice to have the beach pretty much attached to the resort. Skyros is an amazing getaway. We were so sad to leave and hope to come back one day. The staff was very Friendly and accommodating from the desk attendant down to the waitresses. We hope to visit again one day!

From the moment we arrived at Alero Seaside Resort, we knew we had discovered something truly special. The location is absolutely ideal, nestled right by the sea, offering a serene and idyllic escape that captures the very essence of Skyros.

The design and décor are a masterclass in contemporary elegance – stylish, minimal, yet warm and welcoming. It's evident that every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the furnishings to the lighting and layout, creating a space that feels both luxurious and comfortable.

What stood out immediately was the impeccable cleanliness. Not a single speck or stain in sight – the entire resort is maintained to flawless standards, something we rarely encounter, even in the most high-end properties.

The staff were simply outstanding. Always present, always professional, and consistently friendly – they made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Whether it was a small request or a recommendation, their hospitality was second to none.

And then, there’s the restaurant. We had the pleasure of trying every dish on the menu, and each one was a revelation. Michelin-star level creations, beautifully presented and perfectly executed, showcasing both creativity and respect for Mediterranean flavours. A true culinary experience.

The owners have managed to create something unique – a refined and soulful retreat that elevates the island’s hospitality standards. Alero isn’t just a resort – it’s a dream getaway, the kind you long to return to the moment you leave.

Relaxed and beautiful hotel right by the beach. We stayed in a suite with a plunge pool, and our room even had a little kitchenette with a mini fridge freezer. The staff are very friendly and really look after you during the stay. The beach right next to the hotel is super quiet and away from the busier areas, we had the whole beach to ourselves most days. The hotel has a car park which is convenient when hiring a car to explore. The hotel is family friendly (and I think dog friendly too??) and has that luxurious but easy going vibe. The hotel’s restaurant is fab and you get a great breakfast included as part of your stay. Thanks Alero for a great holiday :-)

Alero is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort in Skyros. The rooms are beautifully designed, with modern touches while the private beach and private pool area offer total relaxation. The staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Special thanks to Iro and Alex, who go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. Alero isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience of Skyros at its finest!

Excellent stay - very good rooms, clean and high quality furnishings, very pleasant and polite staff, great food in the restuarant (try the bolognese!) and above all quiet and relaxing and Latte a great addition ! Look forward to returning next year

A lovely hotel on the sea where most of the rooms have sea view. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, simple and classy. Unfortunately the private pools are not pools at all, instead they are like square tubs and are totally redundant. Breakfast is not a buffet but just a narrow tasty choice from a menu. The personnel are friendly and helpful. Cleaning service is not the best. Greatest advantage is that it’s a short drive to the center.

A great choice to stay in Skyros island. The hotel is a family run business with spacious brand new rooms and high level of attentiveness to the clients. Great restaurant as well. The area is quiet and very close to the town of Skyros. A perfect choice for families and those who l would like to relax. Will definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay in a charming location by the sea with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The owners were very helpful in giving tips about day trips and activities available nearby. Will definitely go again next year!
