Excellent hotel in Athos, Halkidiki The pool is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was great - very big and clean with a nice view fron 3 directions to the harbor, open sea and pool. Breakfast was very good - a perfect combination of menu dishest and a buffet.

A wonderful resort even if on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. Loved the infinity pool long enough for proper swimming and with a nice jacuzzi. Will gladly come back!

Very well appointed rooms with all 5 star amenities. Very good breakfast and great dinner place with outstanding food and personalised service. Pools and beach are also great. Service lacks in these areas as the waiters are not proactively around guests but rather the opposite. Kids club was also great and our son loved the attention given by the attendant there. I would visit again.

Akanthos hotel is unique experience, like time travel capsule that gives you feeling how it was to stay in hotels before 50 or 70 years. When you walk in the hallways or on the beautiful wooden staircase you are surrounded with vintage lamps, vases, mirrors and phones and other vintage objects. I went to Athos and this is the cheapest hotel in ierissou. I had an issue with my diamonitirion so I had to stay a couple extra days and they were accommodating. They even drove me to the port.

Nice location and hospitable owner

The hotel is located in the centre of Ierissos and very close to the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and are there to extend their ervice when needed. The rooms were very clean and sufficiently big and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

It is a small family owned boutique hotel 50-100 meters from the beach and the promenade with the fabulous fish and meat taverns. Everything is designed to the last detail in this small hotel. Great hotel. Well designed rooms. Flawless inventory. Kind hosts ready to inform, help, assist. Great parking. Close to the church, quiet and friendly neighbours. Close to the beach, less than 100 meters from the beach. Out of bussy area. Although it is close to the beach, the hotel is so well positioned that loud and busy streets do not affect your rest time.
