Mount Athos Resort in Ierissos

This is a very well-maintained, clean, and cozy hotel. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The food was excellent, the breakfast was delicious. The amenities were very good. I highly recommend this hotel. 👌🏻

Excellent hotel, excellent service. Nice infinity pool, also suitable for children. Not many guests now, everything is new. Our suite had 2 large TVs. The bed was very good and great for sleeping. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fruit and all kinds of cakes and snacks. I might miss vegan milk (maybe you can order it from the menu) and beans (but I use mushrooms instead as a source of protein). For dinner, you should try the octopus and local fish, both were delicious. For vegans, steamed vegetables are a great choice. It would be nice to have a stool/cabinet for small children to brush their teeth and wash their hands, but we used the bathtub for this. Coffee beans might be better if you are a coffee fan than you will need to find something else for a great espresso. In any case, the hotel is a must-see. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in Athos, Halkidiki
The pool is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was great - very big and clean with a nice view fron 3 directions to the harbor, open sea and pool. Breakfast was very good - a perfect combination of menu dishest and a buffet.

Perfect location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply outstanding – every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality and the care that goes into the cooking. The staff are exceptionally friendly, polite, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Greece – highly recommended!

A wonderful resort even if on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. Loved the infinity pool long enough for proper swimming and with a nice jacuzzi. Will gladly come back!

For the fourth year in a row, we’ve come to @mountathosresort Besides the luxury, comfort, beauty, and everything else, you just feel like you’re at home here. For me, there’s something special about this place—it’s right next to Mount Athos. I’m not the most religious person, but I do believe sacred places are in the most powerful spots on Earth. So, in that sense, this hotel carries more energy than an ordinary one. On a practical level, the staff is devoted and attentive without being intrusive, the rooms have every comfort, the views are hypnotic, the food is exquisite, and the beach is clean and peaceful. Even the beach music is so discreet—barely noticeable, yet offering a sense of calm and aliveness at the same time. Here, everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail, so you can simply relax and enjoy your rest.

Hotel is clean, well laid out, and entire staff is helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean with great views.
The food is really good - fresh and tasty. It’s great that the breakfast restaurant is separated from the diner and lunch. The pools are massive and clean and the beach is quiet with plenty of room for hotel guests.
You get what you pay for and we will visit again for sure.

Highly recommend, will happily come back. Everyone from the staff was very attentive and competent. The place is very well maintained. Food at the restaurant was of very high quality and the cocktails at the lobby were top notch - I mean, Mayfair level. The beach is getting cleaned and maintained several times a day. The only downsides are out of the hotel's remit: beach is not as great as the ones in Ammouliani and Ierissos is not a very vivid place.

Very well appointed rooms with all 5 star amenities. Very good breakfast and great dinner place with outstanding food and personalised service. Pools and beach are also great. Service lacks in these areas as the waiters are not proactively around guests but rather the opposite. Kids club was also great and our son loved the attention given by the attendant there. I would visit again.
