Akanthos Hotel in Ierissos

Akanthos hotel is unique experience, like time travel capsule that gives you feeling how it was to stay in hotels before 50 or 70 years.
When you walk in the hallways or on the beautiful wooden staircase you are surrounded with vintage lamps, vases, mirrors and phones and other vintage objects.
There is beautiful balcony at the every floor that is shared with other rooms.
We drunk wine there and enjoyed our evening.

In the lobby of hotel it's super cozy with so many beautiful vintage objects.

For one who loves history, antiques and unique experience I recommend Akanthos hotel as super cool.

We didn't arrange breakfast there, so I can't say about that part. We stayed two nights.

And about cleanliness all the beddings, towels, spaces that you interact and bathroom were clean, so we didn't experience those stuff said in other reviews.

Owners and crew are super nice and welcoming. Always looking how they could help us with local advices etc.

Comparing to the how much money you give you get something unique! 😍

Everything you need is close, bakery, fruit shop, shop, beach, bus stop, etc.
Across the hotel there is big green area/park with many accessories for kid play.
Hotel is pet friendly.

If we come to Ierissos we would go here again for this time travel.

I went to Athos and this is the cheapest hotel in ierissou. I had an issue with my diamonitirion so I had to stay a couple extra days and they were accommodating. They even drove me to the port.

Nice location and hospitable owner

The hotel is located in the centre of Ierissos and very close to the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and are there to extend their ervice when needed. The rooms were very clean and sufficiently big and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!
