GreKa Ionian Suites in Aghia Efimia

We spent a week in Agia Efimia and loved our apartment on the top floor. Terrific views overlooking the sea/harbour and it was wonderful to watch the sun rise every morning. There is a lovely little pool with plenty of sunbeds. Easy parking right outside. And an easy stroll into town with lots of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. It was a bit of a slog getting to the top floor (50 steps!) with two heavy bags and additional bags of groceries for the week, but once that was over, it was a breeze! A few “essentials” would have been nice (ie water in fridge, salt & pepper, etc, but then maybe most travellers come well prepared. Aphrodite was very welcoming and well meaning, with lots of local information.

Lovely views from the balcony, kids loved the pool. Walkable into the centre (10 mins) and nearest restaurant 5 mins away. Parking could be tricky, balcony was quite small for 4 people

Lovely 10 day break at the GreKa Ionian Suites in Agia Efima staying in the Kefelonia Suite which was a second floor one bedroom appartment with wonderful sea views from its two balconies. My daughter from Auckland joined us halfway through the holiday and the appartment was plenty big enough to comfortably cater for another adult. The property is of traditional design and spotlessly clean. The bed is comfortable, the shower powerful and the air conditioning efficient and a welcome relief at the height of summer. The appartments have a good pool and sufficient sun beds for the guests . There are steps so please be aware if you have mobility issues. The host Aphrodite gave us a warm welcome and was extremely helpful and ‘ went the extra mile’ to ensure that our holiday was a special and relaxing experience. I cannot fault the host, accommodation or resort .We had a fabulous time and we will be back.

Aphrodite’s Greka Ionian Suites
We had a lovely time at Greka Ionian Suites. Aphrodite couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us loads of information about best beaches, restaurants etc.
Our apartment was comfortable, very well designed, with lots of storage space and a balcony overlooking the sea.
We’re looking forward to going back already!

In a quiet place, despite the main road being just 5 metres away. Limited cooking facilities but clean and tidy and only 5 minutes from a decent choice of restaurants. Lovely swimming pool, all in all good value, but would have preferred a 1st floor apartment with balcony.

One of the best places we have stayed, the GreKa ionian suites are well positioned to explore agias efimas being just 5 minute walk to the port were there are a number of bars and restaurants to chose from. The room was spacious with a small kitchen area, wifi a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean the apartment was serviced daily. Our host Aphroditi was so welcoming and helpful with everything from transfers, car hire and recommendations where to eat she really makes the place special. We will definitely return.
