5 star hotels in Corfu Town

For a 5 star, very surprised not to have had at least 1 bottle of water in the room, the room remains correct and comfortable however the toilet close to the sink is not very practical

The location is good and the beach is also good

The room has a great view, the breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of fruits, salads and other foods, there are multiple outdoor swimming pools, and the elevator goes directly to the beach.

About 2 weeks ago I visited this hotel with my family and we had a very nice experience. The restaurant had a big buffet for breakfast and dinner with plenty of options and in general great food. Stayed as part of a four-stop, family, holiday. Really liked the hotel, the location and the facilities. Our two rooms had access to a private pool, which was lovely. The private beach is lovely and not too crowded. Breakfast very busy and fairly chaotic with coffee machines way too slow to cope with demand. Didn't notice airport noise at all, from our side of the hotel.

Really nice hotel at a reasonable price for the location and amenities. Well set up for families and young children with a couple of kids pools and friendly staff. Food options are good at breakfast and dinner, but a little limited for lunch. Minor annoyances with wasps and mosquitos so bring repellant if you have it. Great hotel would come back! Last minute booking for a late summer holiday which we didn’t research. Could not fault the hotel, it was great. Food was excellent, drinks were branded. The most iconic hotel in Corfu. Amazing views. Great service. The staff are simply great. They are all there for many many years and offer high class service and know all the guests by name. Beautiful salt water pool with tranquil gardens. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and amazing views. Excellent buffet style breakfast with fresh hot offerings. Friendly helpful staff. Shame the hotel will close over the winter for refurbishment else we’d have stayed much longer. Looking forward to returning next year to see the updates.

Hard to fault this idelic hotel. Staff attentive and welcoming. Attention to detail on point. Had a few requests which were dutifully carried out and provided extra amenities. What an amazing place - best holiday ever. Kontokali bay is amazing, the resort is incredible with its variety of beaches and restaurants. We visited the resort to celebrate my mother’s milestone birthday. This hotel does not meet the standard of a 5-star rating. The rooms are in very poor condition, especially bathrooms, where plaster is peeling off. While ther is a wide variety of food available, the hotel location by the see is difficult to access do to narrov and steep roads. We loved our stay at Pelekas Monastery as a family of four. Our family room which had a sea view balcony was actually bigger than we thought from the photos and had a partition door to divide the kids on their twin single sofa beds and us. Romantic and absolutelly perfect place to spent honeymoon. Gergeo and Nota were very kind and sympatic (even compared to the rest of Corfu habitants). Swimming pool is relaxing and night sky of stars is excellent. Be ready to use bike or car to get closer to the restaurants or markets as it is 2+ kilometres away and surronding village includes some wild dogs.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. And it’s much nicer now it’s had a refurb in the public areas. Sadly the rooms were very basic but clean. Great welcome from the start. The location is set back back from the town it’s an easy walk in or a €20 ride.

We got a small room with the double bed up against one wall. Also, the bathroom was hilariously bad with a tiny bathtub shower that was almost unusable as it had an uneven floor that made it almost dangerous. Proximity to the sea was great, and the pool area was fine although a bit of a catfish picture. Breakfast was great though

Staff are excellent from the cleaning staff to the restaurant bar and kitchen. All of them are friendly and accommodating. We had an excellent stay and we will be back.

This is a gem of a hotel. Staff cannot do enough for you in making your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Some terrific restaurants around the hotel plus the hotel itself offers a smorgasbord of food that will suit everyone’s taste.  We had a junior suite which looked over the water. Bathroom is small but that’s the only negative aspect of the hotel.  Not sure if you could find better place for the price

After disembarking from our sailboat, it was so wonderful that they were able to have our room ready for us early, and for them to have brought our luggage up while we visited the Archaeological Museum! We also enjoyed our dinner at their rooftop restaurant!

There were four of us, and we received a warm welcome. Our suitcases were taken immediately, but one drawback was that they weren't brought to our room because they were stored in a closet. Otherwise, the food was adequate and OK considering the circumstances.
