Where to stay in Almirida

We had a family room. Very spacious, nice decor, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Toiletries provided. We were B&B. Good choice for breakfast, however the hot options weren't hot enough. Roof top pool and bar is a nice area.

Lovely hotel, and staff. Clean and close to beach. Lovely little resort and great restaurants. Room nice and easy access to rooftop bar. Breakfast was ok and enjoyed pancakes. Evenings are out mostly. Would go to this resort/hotel again. First time in Crete.

We have always enjoyed staying at the Almyrida Beach Hotel. Sadly my wife passed away whilst we were at the Hotel last month. The hotel staff were so caring to me and made my remaining days of the holiday as comforting as possible. Despite the unfortunately sad circumstances. I hope to visit next year and see all the lovely staff once again. X

The hotel is spotless but needs modernising rooms, which are nice but need updating. we had a room with a shower, but a curtain is very outdated for a 4-star hotel. The restaurant needs separating from the reception by putting in a partition, and furniture needs updating. When we arrived, we were told about a stomach bug that i caught on day 2 and my wife day 3, which took us both 2 days to get over...

I had an amazing stay at Almyrida Beach Hotel! The room was spotless and comfortable, with beautiful sea views and all the amenities I needed. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options each morning. The pool and beach area were spotless and so relaxing. I can’t wait to come back — highly recommend for anyone visiting Almyrida!

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. We have rarely experienced such friendly and attentive staff. Especially Theo at the reception was always up for a joke and really helped us with every question or concern! The rooms were very nice and cleaned every day. I stayed here for one week at the end of September, the weather was amazing a lot hotter than what I thought it would be. We stayed all inclusive which was great. A quite basic hotel. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. A little bit worn (our shower didn't work as intended). Cleaning okay, but they didn't change our towels all week, until last day when we asked about it. Breakfast could be improved by having more kinds of bread. I visit my cousin who is working there and we had dinner with my friend at the restaurant. The view of Almyrida beach and the village from the restaurant was very beautiful and peaceful. Also the menu and the plates were very tasteful and in another level. The service very professional.

Such a lovely hotel with really good sized rooms! Really kind and helpful staff which is always great. There a lots of restaurant nearby which are at the beach but it I would recommend also going further out to explore as there are lots of lovely beaches to visit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and peaceful.

Fabulous hotel. We were very well looked after from start to finish. Everything positive that I'd read in previous reviews was accurate. The team were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Apartments in the centre of the village, right by bakery. Short walk to supermarkets gift shops, tavernas and the beach. Most things needed for basic drink and food prep. Free safe and AC. Antonis is lovely and very helpful. No deposit, pay when you arrive, beware of any messages scammers.

Just returned from a 4 week stay in these apartments. Such a fantastic find, a perfect place to stay! Elena and Nikos, the owners made the booking and check in very smooth and even organised our airport transfers. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay. The apartment, number 4, was stylish, clean and had a beautiful sea view. Steps away from everything Almyrida has to offer. Elena and Nikos were friendly and welcoming. No pool, but the sea and beach are just across the road. Highly recommend:

Elena and Niko were great hosts. They helped us plan our trip to the Samariá Gorge for the day hike. The place is modern and clean the shower was amazing. It also had a nice view of the beach.
