Where to stay with pets in Stavros

the location of the hotel, quality of the meal and the friendliness of the staff in particular Minos who held the whole thing together, was exceptional. So on the strength of that we booked a week in October,

a real asset to Kavos Hotel Suites! Would highly recommend particularly as they also include a rental car so you can get to the local village of Stavros (lovely) and the many fantastic restaurants in Chania

What I Wish I Knew Ahead of Time: The hotel is in a remote location, so having a car is essential to explore the area and access nearby restaurants and attractions

we had a lovely week very well looked after, room was spotless, Restuarant meal was really good and Minos was once again the person that pulled it all together and was lovely to watch him show case the staff

The food in the restaurant was delicious, including a variety of local dishes and international ones. As wine lovers, we really enjoyed getting to know the local wines as recommended by their sommelier

This customer service did not falter at any point during our stay - all of the staff were incredible. Our suite had a private pool and the decor was modern, and the place immaculate

Good sized quiet room in a good location just a short distance from the beach and several restaurants. Perfect for us as we arrived very late at Chania airport and thus only had a five mile drive

Pleasant stay in a hotel with a magnificent, large, Olympic-sized swimming pool. A big thank you to Matthews, nicknamed the King of Stavros, who welcomed us with the friendliness worthy of Crete

Not far from Chania, which has lots of great shops! Great food, beautiful accomadation, and nicely decorated rooms. They have a swimming pool with 24hr accsess. It has a lift, a computer room and an undercover car park

I have only good things to say about this hotel. It is close to the bus station and there are kiosk and restaurants near the hotel. The personals are very nice and good people very friendly

I only stayed for 2 nights in this quiet hotel. Starting with the staff who were just lovely and helpful right till the very end. I honestly appreciate the breakfast organised for me due to my early departure

Although the breakfast was outstanding, there was so much food that we could never finish it all.   I am at a loss for words, as I am unable to express my gratitude for the unforgettable experience

Zorbas Hotel Beach Village is a little gem which lies on the beautiful part of the Akrotiri peninsula in Chania, unspoilt natural area with stunning views of the Cretan Sea and the unforgettable sunsets and located ideally right on a sandy beach of private land

Approximately 30 minutes from the centre of Chania, you enter a location which is peaceful, picturesque a serene setting but well worth a stay in these attractive single storey apartments

Zeta at the bar is cheerful, professional and makes awesome cappuccino! The atmosphere is delightful and the room is very comfortable, but the views, the pool, and a beautiful little beach make this a destination I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable family friendly stay at one of the most beautiful Mediterranean destinations I've ever seen

Most of the units are well proportionate, beds are of a good size, mattresses and pillows are comfortable and clean, well designed with gardens, paths, secluded sitting areas and BBQ leading to a wonderful pool area which is extremely clean and comfortable sunbeds and pool bar

This was truly a wonderful and surprising place. Aside from the beauty of the location (literally on the beach), the service was fantastic and the personal care was evident everywhere

Through a series of unfortunate events, I ended up in Chania with no accommodations

It was only for one night before the flight back home ! Great location !

And what a lovely bay to overlook- Stavros Bay and Zorbas mountain Exactly the right mix of hotel / taverna services and self-catering convenience for us Swimming and snorkelling excellent

The location is good, the premises a bit old but very clean, the staff friendly and helpful

We will be back next year for sure but for longer! On this note I wanted to warn you not to go to Zorbas Beach Village as the new pool staff is rude and told us that our 7 year old daughter must not use their pool whilst we were there

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for relaxation. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, both at the reception and at the bar

As for the downsides — which didn’t really affect my overall experience — the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, the shower cabin was quite small, and the air conditioning could have been a bit stronger

The location was also ideal – just a short walk to the nearest town with plenty of great places to eat. All in all, this was the perfect family getaway

A special mention goes to Panos, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us excellent recommendations for car hire, restaurants, and local services

Following a family recommendation, we booked Artemis at fairly short notice and are so glad we did. Everything was perfect and we cannot fault our holiday

We had a fantastic stay at Artemis Village in Stavros. Our daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool and spent time there every day

The rooms were modern, spotless, and perfect for a small family – we felt very comfortable and secure throughout our stay

Two beaches you can walk to in 10/15 mins, or drive down (parking never an issue for us) and a few nice restaurants in the village, or lots to choose from a short drive away or in Chania. We'd love to come back some time

This is a beautiful and adorable location! Though it is a little remote, there is a small town that is walking distance and they do have a couple bicycles on property for the guests to use

The management is incredible, they took the time to make me feel comfortable on my solo trip, and went as far as helping me order dinner, find transportation, and lent me a few euros to pay for my dinner and bus ticket when I didn’t have the cash to pay! The views are better than described and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming!

We spent a week at Georgia Vicky. The rooms in the back of the property ( which are facing the ocean) were spectacular! We had room 3. We spent a lot of time just sitting there looking at the sea from our balcony

Perfect getaway Amazing view from the apartment we had. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Position of TV and sofa was a bit odd

I only noticed this due to watching the football Euro cup while girlfriend went to sleep. Would love to stay here again !
