Pleasant stay in a hotel with a magnificent, large, Olympic-sized swimming pool. A big thank you to Matthews, nicknamed the King of Stavros, who welcomed us with the friendliness worthy of Crete. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Thanks to Vicky, who prepared breakfast for us, helped by her two sons.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. It is close to the bus station and there are kiosk and restaurants near the hotel. The beach is also near. The personals are very nice and good people very friendly. We felt safe and happy. The pool is very big and the sun beds were nice

Very cozy and the view was powerful! My room faced the bay. The crashing of the waves set the mood. The facility was clean, excellent and in the best location. Access was easy. Beautiful property and very convenient location to Old Town. The one downside is parking. I read somewhere that the property had parking, but it turned out to not have any. This stay was worth the money. Because of delays in travel we got there almost check in closing time. Alexander was nice enough to wait for us. He was very attentive and made sure our stay went well. I had to switch rooms in middle of my stay as I extended my trip and they moved my stuff from one room to another while I was out so it was a seamless transition. Location is absolutely perfect. Domus Reis is amazing! I loved that the property keep many architectural and artful features from the previous palace. It is in the heart of old Hania. My family loved this hotel. Everything is 5-stars in my book. If I could give 10 stars, I would give it to the staff. One example of why I feel this was is that we had to depart at about 4:00am. Absolutely stunning place,suites are very beautiful,very comfortable bed,very clean.Very highly recommended to stay there,truly worthed.Breakfast are included at the restaurant.Portions are so big not even funny.We did book the suite without any known how it was going to be,but we found absolute gem.

We stayed at one of the suits for 3 nights,everything was super clean and we had everything we needed!The owner really helped us out with everything we needed and the breakfast was really good and tasty too! Definitely we look forward for next time!

It's not a very big hotel, with six or seven floors and four or five rooms on each floor. The room faces the sea, the view is great, and I fall asleep every night listening to the sound of the waves. The facilities in the room are average, the service is in place, the location is a little remote, and the facilities nearby are average, but it's a ten-minute walk to a relatively prosperous place, overall...

The location was great - nearly in the middle of Chania and within walking distance of the old town and the port. The service was great, with the staff really trying to be very helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Parking was interesting tho, but the staff helped heaps to ensure that we could arrive and leave without too much fuss. The rooms were quite roomy and the beds comfy.
