Afitis Boutique Hotel in Afitos

We recently stayed at Afitis Boutique Hotel and overall had a really pleasant experience. The location is absolutely beautiful — right by the sea, with direct beach access, and just a short 8–9 minute walk up the stairs to the town center, where you'll find plenty of shops and traditional tavernas. It's the perfect mix of peaceful beach vibes and nearby local charm.

The sea is stunning, with clear water and beautiful shades of blue. That being said, future guests should know that the beach is quite rocky — some people even spotted sea urchins — so water shoes are definitely recommended.

One of the highlights for us was the sunrise. We woke up early every morning just to watch it. The colors were magical, and if you have a sea view room, you can even enjoy it from your balcony. Totally worth it.

Breakfast was decent, with a fair variety to choose from. However, we found the beach bar cocktails to be a bit overpriced, especially considering the slow service. Even when it wasn't busy, we waited quite a while to get our drinks. The same goes for lunch at the hotel’s terrace — service was slow, and our food came out at different times, which was disappointing. I'd recommend heading up into town instead, where you’ll find quicker service and more options.

Our room had a lovely sea view and was overall comfortable. Cleanliness was fine, though the furniture looked a bit dated and one of the drawers was broken. Also, the shower gel wasn't replaced after the first small bottle ran out — a small detail, but noticeable in a hotel of this level.

Another thing the hotel could improve is how they manage sunbed reservations. Every morning, we saw people coming out early just to "claim" sunbeds with towels and then going back to their rooms. It would be great if the hotel took action on this, especially since many of them weren’t even staying to watch the sunrise.

All in all, Afitis Boutique Hotel is a beautiful place to stay with lots of charm and a perfect location, but it's not quite at the level of a 5-star resort yet. There are still a few details that need attention. That said, we had a lovely time and would consider returning!

On the sore line (private beach) with 2 pools. Location is nice. Close to Afitos village (lively and recommended). Breakfast is fine (could change menu from day to day, coffee from a machine..), friendly staff (most of them). Specious rooms but could have more amenities (in room and in the hotel)

An excellent place that must be visited! Definitely in the higher price range, but it's worth it if you choose the right room type – 'Junior Suite with a View'. We also had a second room booked – 'Garden View' – which was nice too, but not comparable to the other one. Breakfast was perfect, and the restaurant meals were great too. During the day, the restaurant works as a beach bar, where the alcohol prices were high, but the service was top, and you know what you're paying for. Will come back for sure.

Peaceful Stay with Excellent Dining – Highly Recommend! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Afitis Hotel. The room was elegant, quiet, and very comfortable — ideal for a relaxing getaway. We had also dinner there three times and loved every dish, especially the Greek salad, the octopus, and the codfish. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Afitis is a beautiful and peaceful place — we would definitely come back!

The hotel is really good ! Excellent. Some of the reviews are not fair. The location is really beautiful , quiet and exclusive. The staff is very friendly and polite. The rooms are big enough. I really loved the pool area and the flowers. Breakfast is so good !! Lot of fresh fruits, Greek pastries, Greek yoghurt, fresh vegetables, etc. The private beach area is beautiful and not crowded, and the water is so clear. Overall I really enjoy it, and I will come back again.
