The beach area is well worth a visit. The beach bar that had been there is now closed but that means the beach is quiet and not littered with sunbeds. The sea is so clear, warm and clean

Staff couldn’t do enough for you, very friendly. Beautiful views from our room. Situated a short walk from Afytos which is very pretty. Lots of lovely restaurants and little shops

The Blue Bay Hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere and amazing views. We stayed for 6 nights but wished it was longer. Breakfast was of a great quality and plenty of choice

The poolside bar and meals, well, the staff were waiting on us with our drinks and the snacks were really good. Did have an issue with the kettle but that wad sorted out. Steps from the hotel take you down to the beach

Everything was great. Good service and great staff. Everything was clean. Near the beach. Very quite, perfect for relaxation.

Staff were so helpful and would do anything to make your stay wonderful. The two pools were so lovely and clean as was the whole hotel and rooms. We will definitely be going back soon

Perfect hotel a few minutes walk away from the center of Afytos. The building and rooms are modern and spotless and we loved the relaxing pool area with comfortable loungers and full service bar

The bar food and drinks are also very nice which was great for us as the weather in the day is too hot to go elsewhere so we enjoyed staying by the pool and relaxing during the day. Thank you very much for a great stay

Everything—from the immaculate room service to the beautiful outdoor spaces and the inviting pool—was exceptional. The attention to detail and the comfort provided made my stay truly memorable

Above all this, the standout was the incredible service by all staff and especially Katarina at the front desk, who upgraded our room and went out of her way to be accommodating

After a few years not going to The Achtis - we decided to come back. And everything was just, if not better as we remembered it from our many Family holidays. Everyone there can't do enough to make your stay special

The food is excellent and we had 3 evening meals in the restaurant. Special mention to the staff though, everyone is super friendly and they can't do enough for you

The village is beautiful with lovely bars and restaurants but the food and the new bar at achtis rivals any of them so you do not even need to leave the hotel to be totally spoilt

The food is delicious, and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had, the chefs are brilliant. The grounds are like a little oasis, and the peacocks, ducks and fish add to the entertainment

This time was the first time without children - perfect for a couple get away too. Every staff member is so kind and make you feel so welcome. We already booked for 2026 :)

A beautiful hotel.Staff were so friendly. Lovely,clean and modern with an excellent buffet breakfast. Couple of minutes walk to the resort centre....would book again.

Has everything you need and is perfect for a relaxing weekend with partner or friends ❤️ The team are fabulous nothing is too much hassle so helpful and professional! We stayed in the quadruple room and it was perfect for four women

The hotel was literally very satisfiying. Location was perfect with sea view and easy parking area just in front. Pool seemed very clean and attractive but we prefer the sea. All the workers are very kind and helpful

The rooms were very nice and very clean. Clean towels and bedding changed every other day by the cleaners who done an excellent job. The pool was a nice size with plenty of sun beds

The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks which was run by Maria and Elvis who also worked in the dining room at breakfast time. It was my husband birthday and a birthday cake was made for him unbeknown to us

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at this hotel. But what a beautiful hotel which is run by Anastasia and her sister Stella. The pictures on the web site didn’t do it justice

Bar cocktails are great and two loveley sisters run it ! Am i crete at the moment so review will come soon

The breakfast is included and I would defy anyone not happy with the choice, there is a warm selection, a healthy fruit selection a sweet selection with a very good choice of breads eg sliced, uncut white, brown, Dutch crispy etc

Excellent location with fantastic views over the sea. Hotel manager, Stella, and all the staff/ family couldn't be more helpful and keen to make our holiday the best experience.

It was an amazing experience to be at that hotel. Our suite room with pool and sea views was truly outstanding, breakfast was excellent and the whole place was very clean

just had another fantastic week at evripidis hotel. 3 star hotel with 5 star plus service. at evripidis you are not just a guest you are family and treated as family. the rooms are spotless nice balcony food lovely

Then there is the main man, Evripidis, who runs the bar and never seems to be off duty! He was on the go the whole time, serving drinks, mixing cocktails, taking food orders, wiping tables, always with a smile

The breakfast was great, with a good choice of fruit, cereal, various Yoghurts, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, Greek meats, cheeses and wonderful breads and breakfast cakes

The staff were just lovely and made us feel like family, nothing was too much trouble, special thanks to Natasa and Anastasia who went above and beyond. Anastasia even carried our cases to the minibus, such lovely people

We spent a week here as part of a package with jet2. We arrived late evening and were instantly made to feel welcome. After taking us to our room we were given a welcome drink and they made us a sandwich

The staff could not have done more - they really were fantastic. Afytos is lovely but if you come this late in the season be prepared for most of the cafes and restaurants to be closed

Nice place with very good food which is made fresh and with local ingredients. The service is very polite. The rooms are good but the beds are very hard.

We loved the exposed brick walls in our accommodation but as with a lot of Greek places, the stairs in our maisonette were very steep! Loved the pool, jacuzzi and sunbeds. Food served at the bar from 1pm was delicious

There are loads of restaurants to choose from. Do check ratings on here before you try as they are pretty accurate. We only experienced one bad place and that was without checking first so we learnt our lesson

We woke up early every morning just to watch it. The colors were magical, and if you have a sea view room, you can even enjoy it from your balcony. Breakfast was decent, with a fair variety to choose from

That being said, future guests should know that the beach is quite rocky — some people even spotted sea urchins — so water shoes are definitely recommended. One of the highlights for us was the sunrise

However, we found the beach bar cocktails to be a bit overpriced, especially considering the slow service. Even when it wasn't busy, we waited quite a while to get our drinks

I'd recommend heading up into town instead, where you’ll find quicker service and more options. Our room had a lovely sea view and was overall comfortable

The same goes for lunch at the hotel’s terrace — service was slow, and our food came out at different times, which was disappointing
