Byzantio Hotel Apartments in Parga

Definitely the best resort in Valtos if not in the whole of Parga. Relaxing by the pool is one of those unique and rewarding experiences. The servicing crew is fast, always available and keen to go for an extra mile - with a smile 😊 The premises are spotless clean and the location simply perfect! I’ll definitely be back again, as Byzantio Apartments is worth every single penny I spent! Its greatest asset is probably the proximity to the superb sandy beach of Valtos with its crystal clear water - just a 2 min walk!

A wonderful hotel with great location, beautiful garden and pool area, but what really makes this hotel shine is its staff! Always helpful, always smiling and always making sure our needs are met! I can not recommend it enough!

I stayed at Byzantio Hotel & Apartments near Valtos Beach in Parga, and overall, I had a good experience.

The room wasn’t huge, but definitely not small either – just the right size. It was mostly clean, but there was a bit of dust under the double beds. The bathroom was nice and had a small window with a mosquito net, which was super helpful. One thing to note: the main door has a window in it, so quite a bit of light comes in at night, and even when the room lights are “off,” there’s still a slight glow. That being said, the air conditioning worked perfectly – super cool and refreshing.

Location-wise, it’s only a 5-minute walk to Valtos Beach, which was amazing. It’s not directly in the center of Parga, but still very close and easy to reach by foot.

The staff were really kind and welcoming – you could tell they genuinely cared about making your stay nice.

The breakfast wasn’t anything special – I wouldn’t call it great, but it was decent enough to start the day.

Overall, a cozy stay in a calm area, great for beach days and relaxing 🌴

We spent a night here while traveling through Greece. It was a not so long walk to the beach from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay there and encountered no problems. The rooms were comfortable, the staff helpful and polite, and the night was very quiet.

Whilst comfortable the rooms could do with more storage space such as a chest of drawers. The complex is also some distance from the main area of Tavernas etc so a bit disadvantaged if you are not especially mobile. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

I'm sorry if my earlier review touched a nerve with the owner, but the issue regarding storage space is as experienced by us. There is only 3 small drawers, it would be greatly helped by replacing the table under the TV with a full chest of drawers.

On the issue of position, this could be turned to the hotel's advantage by offering a small charge shuttle.

Family run hotel. Spotlessly clean. They can't do enough for you. People return year on year. Food is really nice here too. Always someone around and willing to help.

Very nice hotel. Everything was perfect.

We spent two weeks here in September and had a most relaxing time. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which consisted of two double bed rooms, each with a comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and each bedroom had a balcony. A separate kitchen area with dining table and a shower room.
The room was serviced every day and the bedding was very changed regularly.
The Tsovilis family are excellent hosts, each guest is greeted personally and made to feel like a member of family.
The hotel grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There is a good sized pool and a smaller children's 'splash' pool. There are ample sun beds and shady seating areas for those who prefer to sit out of the sun.
The beach is a couple of hundred metres away along a fairly rough path.
There is a good bar/restaurant, where breakfasts and snacks are available. We chose to eat out every evening and after having a couple of disappointing meals in the nearby restaurants decided to head to Parga where there are a large number and variety of restaurants. The overall best of which we found to be Sakis - also owned and run by the Tsovilis family. It serves excellent quality, authentic Greek food at very reasonable prices.
We walked to Parga each evening, which was about a mile along local roads and a good footpath over the 'hill' and took us about 30 minutes although you can shave a couple of hundred metres off this by taking a shortcut along the beach.
A note for those with limited mobility: My wife has arthritis in her knees and there were a couple of things she found challenging. 1.The path to the beach is accessed by a wooden 'bridge' that is slightly wobbly and needed a bit of caution.
2. The walk Parga is over a hill and although the footpath is very good there are patches of uneven surfaces and some challenging steps.
Whenever we return to the Parga area we wil definitely be staying at Byzantio Hotel and Apartments because from what we experienced it is the best.

It's an amazing place! It's our second time here and it didn't disappoint us! People here are nice hosts, very attentive and megapleasant! It's a better place for a family rest with children?
