Maria, her mother Despina, and other members of the family who run the Despina Hotel, are wonderful hosts — always kind, responsive, and with care for the visitors. A budget family-owned hotel. It has everything one would need, but a major issue is the wi-fi. Despite having 5 separate wi-fis, none of them works and one has to rely on data. It's right next to a store though.

After a week on Paros we moved to Naxos & we spent 12 happy days & evenings in Agia Anna at Hotel Despina - family of four (two boys aged 10 & 13). Great value for money with friendly staff and things like restaurants cafes and a supermarket within walking distance, the beach is very close which is good to get a chair early and the rooms are pretty good for not a lot of money. Considering you get a hot and cold water shower, one or more beds and aircon its a great deal. Maria and the other staff members are super friendly and are always happy...

All fantastic apart from lack on lifts to the top floor. We were helped by two lovely ladies but had to carry lots of weight up and down two steep set of stairs. Taxi driver wasn’t happy either

Ideal location, one street from the beach and restaurants but extremely quiet. Great pool area, lovely big room with attention to detail. Sockets by the beds, bedside lamps, lots of tables etc. Two pillows each, great shower, all the important stuff that is so often lacking was all here.

Beautiful little hotel with an amazing pool and in a great location.

The staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. The only small comment would be that the shower did not have a shower curtain so water would get in the floor in the bathroom but each day the staff would clean it and give us clean towels. The pool was very nice and a great addition to our stay. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I did not like that the TV was not working. I had no TV the whole time I was there. I also asked that the property be on the ocean or view of ocean. They advertise that they do and they are one block away from the water.

My staying was more than expected, as the manager was very friendly, quick to recognize us even before we prepare our code to enter to the room. He was helpful with our needs and the instructions. There was a swimming pool too which is a plus. We advise ppl to make their reservation @ Antonina hotel.

We had some lost bags on the flight to Naxos and Paulo the hotel manager really helped us with dealing with the airport and the airline. The kitchenette was suitably equipped for light bites & snacks and the beds were comfortable, though could have done with another wardrobe or dresser (one wardrobe for 5 people wasn't ideal, but we made it work). We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel, the location is perfect, 5 minutes from the sea. Our room was very clean, the sheets and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was okay. Absolutely hands down a wonderful place to stay!! Not only are the rooms super clean and comfy, the location is absolutely amazing if you want to be close to the beach and the clubs. We have absolutely loved our 2 week stay at the family run Birikos Hotel. From the incredible breakfast buffet to the lovely pool with plentiful, comfortable loungers, we loved it all.
