Myrto Hotel in Koufonisia

I recently stayed at the Myrto Hotel for 7 nights, this is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. This is a family run hotel, Alex and his family are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and well maintained, a nice breakfast was provided. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and very close to the port. I look forward to staying at the Myrto Hotel again in the future.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Myrto! Beautiful, clean rooms with incredible views, delicious breakfast, and a central location. We were sad to leave and would go back in a heartbeat!

Alex, Haroula and their daughter are wonderful hosts together. Their hotel in Koufanisisa is simply beautiful in a spectacular location - their staff is top notch. We can't wait to see them again as we feel in love with Greece.

Great stay at Myrto Hotel! Perfect location to walk to everything. I had a room with a beautiful view which was great too! Alex, the hotel manager, went out of his way to make me feel welcome and answer any questions I had about the island. I’d certainly stay again. And by the way, I love Koufonisi!!

We had an issue with our Airbnb and suddenly had to find a new place to stay — in the middle of the night, in the middle of the island, with nothing around. We were honestly desperate, and when we called the hotel, Alex (I believe the owner) answered right away. Without hesitation, he offered us a room and even drove out to pick us up from what felt like the middle of nowhere. He truly came to our rescue. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and peaceful, but what made our stay really special was the warmth and care of the staff. Everyone was helpful, genuine, and kind throughout our stay, and we felt truly looked after. We are so grateful we ended up here — it turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a safe and positive experience. Thank you again for everything!

Alex was very kind and offered to pick us up even though the port is a 3 mins walk to the hotel. Can’t beat the location and definitely would recommend for a short stay on the island.

Beautiful sunrise from our balcony. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Fabulous location. Everything we could ask for. Alex took the time to passionately share the history of his hotel. Pride of ownership was evident. He recommended a few places for dinner that were excellent. We would highly recommend a stay here.
