Paradise Hotel in Koufonisia

We spent 2 nights June 2025.
Very expensive for the given standard.
Service was really pure. We arrived at the room and the jacuzzi was terribly dirty.
We asked the reception to clean while will be out but this didn’t happened.
Later on the day staff came while we were in the room.
The pool bar was not in operation at all.
Apart of that the reception were helpful but obviously the administration was not efficient.

Horrible hospitality, zero cleanliness, rude and unhelpful staff. Our last night there we did not have any hot water- not even warm. It was freezing and they kept doubting us from reception. Bathroom was dirty when we checked in. Extremely expensive for what it is. The bunk bed was collapsing. Never again

They rip people off. Just see the Reviews in google. They put you in a bad room and then they offer an upgrade for 500E per night ! I will never go there again. The resort in the name is misleading. Nothing to do with a resort hotel and more over with paradise, more though with nightmare.

The hotel is cleaned and has a quite good location to the city center. However do not expect anything mentioned in the room description because none of this is available in the room. Also when we arrived we changed 2 times the room : 1st one was a triple room (they made a mistake and came to us to move) and the 2nd one was not matching with what we booked in terms of pictures and room description (we booked a deluxe room with balcony and sea view and we got a room with only one bed and no facility, ground floor, land view). We finally got a room with sea view and balcony but still only one bed in the room and no facility.
For the 2nd night the owner organized his aunt’s birthday by the pool with barbecue and music till late in the night. We told him the next morning that it’s not very cool as we are here to enjoy and relax (and sleep during the night). His answer was that his aunt’s birthday was more important (meaning more important than the clients sleeping the same night).
Finally if you ask for a laundry, your clothes are mixed with the other rooms so we were very happy to sort them out on the reception desk.
Pass your way, this hotel does not deserve to stop by.

Stay away! Horrible experience. We paid 230€ per night for a deluxe double room. Apparently it was just a bed and bath without even a breakfast for this price. A complete rip-off. They insisted to be fully paid upfront and they were not providing us with the receipt until the very last minute. We had to explicitly request it multiple times and they even got upset. The young person in the front desk was completely unprofessional and rude. They were unable to deal with the complaints. They were speaking in an offensive way with impolite gestures to us and to another couple who were also complaining, right in front of us. And all this, right in front of the person who seemed to be the manager of the premise. We also complained about an incident that happened 2 times during our stay, as drunk ppl were trespassing in the pool, 2am in the morning. His answer was that he understands these young guys because he is of the same age! Probably they deserved that the drunk people were so proudly pissing in the pool from the ledge. We never had such a bad customer service experience. As for the room, it was recently refurbished but clearly unfinished. Cables were hanging in the bathroom, the balcony had an unfinished pergola with no shade and no curtains. Few random furniture, that provide zero utility, were placed in the room, limiting the already small space. Regarding utilities, the bathroom had no hairdryer and zero toilet accessories to place our stuff).
