Sunrise Hotel - All Inclusive

Overall a pleasant stay but we did encounter quite a few issues while we were here.

On the first day we got to our room and the bathroom floor was flooded. It took a few hours until we were moved to another room.

The rooms in the adult only block are generally very modern, spacious and in a quiet area which was lovely. However the air conditioning did not work until day 4 of our stay, so it was difficult to sleep for the first 3 nights in 29 degree heat. We had no running water which we reported, and also no hot water on a separate occasion.

The beach and pool bar were not ready for guests. There were men and JCBs on the beach putting up all the parasols and resurfacing. The pool bar near the adults only block was not open until the day before we left, which is a shame as the view is much better and more modern. The a la carte restaurant was also not open until the day before we left. Also the drinks machines were not working on a few occasions. We were very surprised and shocked that a hotel could open it's doors to guests when it clearly wasn't ready. We have stayed in Rhodes many times but never experienced anything like this before.

The service in general was OK and the buffet had a great selection. The location and proximity to the beach were probably the highlights for us, although we couldn't access the beach until day 4 due to the works going on.

PLEASE BE AWARE...there are some 'recent' Google reviews of this hotel which are false. E.g. include photos of luxury sunbeds and a volleyball court which are not there!!

The view from the hotel is great right next to the sea. The rooms are big but the main problem is the isolation you can hear everything from the next door and that makes it impossible to sleep if you have neighbors. Other problem is that there are cockroaches some times in the room. The WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms only in public areas and there is week as well .
