We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Alea with our family. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel truly at home.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious and clean rooms, lovely pools, and well-kept grounds. The beach right next to the hotel is perfect for families – calm, safe, and with crystal-clear water.
The food was excellent, offering plenty of variety and fresh options every day.
What made the experience truly special was the positive atmosphere created by the whole team. Every detail was thought through to ensure comfort and relaxation.
We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for the perfect family holiday in Thassos, Hotel Alea is definitely the place to be!

Too high a price for what Alea offers. Average rooms. Rude staff. The manager couldn't give us a canopy even though they were all empty. The air conditioners don't work very well. Lunch is at a beach bar where you can't eat because of the wasps flying everywhere. They mix beer with water. Very little content inside the hotel. The only positive thing is the food. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall, my feeling about this hotel is average. The services and especially the all-inclusive package do not correspond to a 4* standard. The “all-inclusive” includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the snacks in between are just visibly old fruit or leftover small sendwiches ( in limited amount). Lunch is served only at the beach, where you are constantly chased by bees, making it impossible to enjoy a peaceful meal. How this issue is not being addressed is unbelievable.
Entertainment is poor. At the very least, one proper Greek evening would have been nice, especially since we were visiting a Greek island.
If you experienced other 4* resorts you might be disappointed.

Extremely satisfied with our stay in Alea. We were upgraded to a superior room with a yard of its own and a jacuzzi free of charge by the manager! Great guy! Good food, especially breakfast and dinner. Dri is are okay for an all inclusive. Overall a great experience and well kept hotel.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Friendly service and staff. Perfect food, drinks, and snacks. Perfect accommodation, security, and beach. We really loved it here. Thank you for a wonderful week with you on Thassos. We couldn't have made a better choice.

Lovely location and interior/exterior, located next to a beautiful beach. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful (including the receptionists, cleaners and waitresses), especially the receptionist who informed me about the many sights Thassos has to offer. There was a variety of different foods although some dishes could be improved. All in all were a great stay.

Staff checked your shoes on entering the restaurant. Only buffet restaurant open all week. I got reprimanded by a barman for not ordering both of my drinks at the same time. No entertainment. The plastic waste was ridiculous, straws and plastic cups were strewn everywhere. I stayed here 2018, I still shudder when I think about it !

Great staff, good and diverse food for all-inclusive, nice rooms, beds are ok too. The resort is well run by what seem like competent people, unlikely you'll have any problems.

Great place, plenty of different food options. Receptionist was kind. Although wifi in my room was terrible. Cleaning services was also not the best, cleaning took a long time and towels left were dirty with brown stains. Beach was very close to the hotel, at least two pools. There is small town near the hotel but there isnt much to do there, if you want to explore Greece you should either take tours by your travel agency or just take ferry from that town to Kavala, i havent been there but its bigger city. Overall great experiance in this hotel with some downsides

There were ants in the bathroom and in the room. Ants in the balcony as well. You wouldn't expect that from a 4 stars hotel. The room is okay, not as big as it seems in the pictures. I don't recommend all inclusive, the breakfast is the same every single day, lunch and dinner are okish, but not a big variety, food is tasty but is not like something to remember. There was a buffet for kids, with 3 dishes only, some pasta, fries and chicken nuggets or fish fingers. Is better to discover the taverns from the island, cheaper and tastier. There are no activities for children.
We paid for a room with sea view, and there is no sea view, is more pool view, and a partial sea view somewhere in the back. Definitely not something to ask money for. Wifi is not working properly, sometimes is not working at all.
However, the beach is perfect for kids.
