Where to stay with pets in Makrinitsa

1st of all, this location is at the top of Makrinitsa and you'll need a good driver to climb the slopes to it (very technical, with hairpins) Other than that, the location is breathtaking, with a view on Volos and surrounding hills

A wonderful place with a magnificent view of the mountains, the sea and Volos. The hotel is located in the highest part of Makrinitsa

Arhontiko Xantha has probably the best view on Makrinitsa village! Those who like drinking their morning coffee on the top of a mountain while enjoying the view of the sea will love it! The room was very clean and had all the necessary requirements for a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation! The owners were extremely friendly and always willing to help you with anything you could probably need,...

You can also go on foot to Makrinitsa, but the journey back will be a bit more difficult (or helpful if you want to burn calories 😅) Definitely recommending this place, and I hope to come back to it one day

The owner also went himself to get us pies in one of the mornings, and when we had issues with one of the cars, he offered to use his contacts in the area to help us

Beautiful apartments with amazing view. Has almost everything, but not very accessible for people with difficulty climbing lots of stairs. You can choose either the romantic apartments or the more family ones.

We had a very nice stay here. Clean, cosy and well equipped. Even during a crazy heatwave (40 degrees) no problem since all rooms have air conditioning. Upon request they provided 2 babybeds, which was great.

Affordable luxury in a traditional style home with every comfort someone can imagine, three different ways of heat including a fireplace. Manager mr Kostas and Ms Alexia are excellent people

Really cool spot! The whole town is built into a steep hillside. To Stefani Tis Makrinas is beautiful with the traditional design of the village. The staff is very kind and helpful

But the most lovable bit for me was the balcony with that awesome view. For winter all rooms have really proper heating and a fireplace to make your stay even cozier

The location is goegeous, the rooms are splendid and original, the views are terrific, the personal nice and helpful, the owner is charming, and goes the extra mile to make your stay special and her breakfast are wonderful

How long does it take to boil the kettle and give a tea bag? In this place you need to wait until all guests are served their cofee to drink your tea

An outstanding place to stay, with an excellent location! The staff was friendly, making us feel at home. I enjoyed the spectacular view and our coffee time at the lounge café

The breathtaking panoramic view was terrific! Room had many features inside like the soundproofed windows, a/c, minibar, refrigerator, TV and the room service was great! Breakfast was rich with many options on the morning buffet

Our room was well-prepared for the season and fully equipped, the bathroom was quite spacious, the children had enough room to run and play around, the breakfast was homemade and appealing

Overall, I couldn't be happier with our experience at the establishment. We had a great time, I will surely revisit the place, and I recommend it!
