The hotel is worth all 5 stars. The service is excellent, it really feels luxurious. Whatever i wished they acted on it immediately. Amazing food, amazing staff, and the wellness spa is also nice. Not too big though, so when the hotel is full it does feel crowded. But for this price, we will keep coming back... Side note, the sensors in the garage are not 5 star... we hardly could get out, you have...

Love thos hotel in the quiet town of Debrecen. The staff were helpful. The room we booked was a family suite, very reasonably priced. 2 rooms, a sleeping area, and living room type area. Two balconies as well. Breakfast was buffet. Lots of great options.

Being in this bar, after a long journey in the work is like an oasis where you can relax yourself thank to the nice and familiar atmosphere which this special place has to offer. We stayed here with our kids, and it was a great choice. The location is perfect — right next to Nagyerdő Park and just a 5-minute walk from Aquaticum. The hotel is like a resort, insanely comfortable. The staff has been amazing. The bartenders (Zsolt and Zoltan) have blown out minds. Better craft cocktails than we get back home, at less than half the price, and a smile on their face the whole time. I would happily stay here any time in in Debrecen.

The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month). Good hotel located in the central area of Debrecen. You get really good value for money. Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh and freshly made selection. Friendly and helpful staff. And do not forget the wellness area on the third floor, where you can find a sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, solarium, and open terasa and sit outside on nice summer day.

My room was great. The mattress was a little too soft for my taste and the lack of a shower curtain was a bother, but regardless, it was a pleasant experience. The free access to the wellness center was a fortunate surprise. The breakfast had great variety. Would recommend.

The hotel is really 5 minutes by walk from the center so the location is great. Otherwise it is quite obsolete, and even looks dirty (the walls, carpet). The bathroom is not so attractive either. If you have something to do in the Kolcsey Center this is a good choice since its 1 minute by walk.

Rooms facing the park are large and relatively quiet. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy and are quite small with old TV sets. Bathrooms are generally ok, but the shower cabin could be designed much better... Breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone. Hotel has a nice swimming pool and limited spa/gym facilities.

The AC did not function in my room and I reported it many times but they never responded. I woke up sweaty all the time. Not highly recommended as there should be better in Debrecen. The room was average for the price, this is more like a 2 or 3 star hotel no way 4 star. Good for soldiers as there were many in this hotel for breakfast

Travelled to Debrecen for the first time. The hotel is located at the centre of the city. Very kind and professional staff at the reception and at the restaurant. The room was prepared to perfection. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower and absolutely delicious food and great service at the restaurant. The checkin and checkout was quick and smooth. Will choose Mercure Debrecen again...

Location is great, very central and easy access. Rooms are up to standard that you would expect from an Accor affiliated hotel. Service is poor compared to other 4* hotels and Accor standard.

This brand-new hotel is an excellent choice! ​The central location is perfect for exploring Debrecen. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable (especially the heated floors). ​The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is both friendly and professional. ​The on-site sauna and fitness room are great for unwinding. Great hotel if you want to experience the spirit of the golden era. The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast. Great experience!

If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl. Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

The place looks a bit old and the cleanliness is questionable, but at least the breakfast is diverse and better than other Debrecen hotels I've been to. There's a nice private parking area, with electrical vehicle charging spots, that also offer a few covered parking places. The location is close to the Motorway, Tesco, Spar and a shopping center with multiple shops. Overall good.

If you want to get away from city noise, this is the perfect place, out in the suburbs with two supermarkets close by.

The hotel is ok for one night stay, clean , and the receptionist was nice. The problem was that we arrived around 9 o'clock and the restaurant was closed. The bar was closing in 5 min, so we grabbed a couple of beers and went to bed hungry. Would be nice to live in a fridge at reception a few sandwiches for the late guests.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the food is excellent, and the location is great. The reception staff is extremely polite, especially a younger man named Feri, who was always smiling, whether it was day or night, and consistently kind and hospitable. Highly recommended!

Lovely, inexpensive hotel close to the airport. The breakfast is amazing: veggies, fruit, close to 10 types of cheese, 6 different types of meat, omelette, sausages, etc! A wonderful place to relax and warm up in the thermal pools during winter, when it’s snowy and freezing outside. It’s a cozy and peaceful spot where everything feels calm and pleasant. There are many different baths and pools, as well as a small water park, jacuzzi, and more.

Best hotel in Hungary. In and outdoor thermal baths. Slide and pool park for kids. Outside thermal baths in large park with special pool for children.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, this is only the entrance. I love this place i have such fond childhood memories of it! The climate is so warm and nice, the plants are beautiful and dreamy creating a lovely atmosphere. The pools are great and the slides are very fun as well. This place us definitely worth the price, you could easily spend a fun afternoon here :)

We came here from Romania, so comparing with what you can find in our country it is perfect. It was clean enough, different types of pools inside for kids and adults also.

This AquaPark is among the finest in the region. It is stunning and well-structured, ensuring safety and being suitable for children. There are numerous ways to have fun in the water. The slides are quite thrilling, yet they are entirely safe.

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? The thermal pools were good, about 6 and a variety of temperatures and the water park had some good pools, overall a good way to spend the day. Food and drinks options not too bad either (mix of fast food and alcohol)

Nice room, excellent staff, but tram disruptive Room was very nice, bed was okay (too soft for my back, but fine for my wife). But, if you are a light sleeper, then the tram that passes by frequently until late night, and from early morning was quite disruptive.

Perfect Hotel to stay in the centre of town. Rooms are huge with air con also there are balcony on every room. Bathrooms are spacious with a nice shower. Stayed in 2 different rooms during my time here and both where cleaned and made up to a high standard . I will definitely be staying here again soon.

The rooms were clean and up-to-date, kind of like a dorm, which is understandable. We had an AC which was awesome in the summer heat. It is in close proximity with a bus stop, bot otherwise it's pretty far from everything.

Accomodation in a student dorm, simple clean, practical. The place made me sentimental about the times of my university studies :-) Comfortable bed, helpful staff, fridge in the room. Location in the university campus, close to the Great Forest.

The hotel is nice. The environment is natural and the rooms are wonderfully structured with some touch of independence for the occupants. You have everything you need. From kitchen to working space.

This place is a huge facility with a lot of attractions such as thermal pools, carts, playgrounds for kids and much more. There is a good restaurant with delicious dishes. I recommend this place if you are looking for a very calm place away from the big city rush

I had a great stay at the Hotel. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of tasty options. However, it's worth mentioning that the notice for renovation and updates was visible in certain areas. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel and would recommend it to others.

Nice downtown location. Staying at the Panzio is very good, especially if you do not drive. The rooms are large. There is a full kitchen that is shared by 4 rooms. There were two desks in the room. A large shower. External shutters that totally block the light and help insulate in the winter. It is right off the main plaza downtown. Less than a block from one of the main tram lines. Highly recommended, excellent location, super clean, and most of the facilities are available.

The hotel is quite small, the staff was helpful with good english. The room was clean, it looks new but when you look better you can see some problems like black mold in shower for example. The breakfast was cheap, we was little bit late 9:00, but they dont refill anything(for example yogurt, sausages, vegetables...). We paid 83€ for night with breakfast so i think its OK.

I saw the other reviews and I think they improved quite a lot because when we were there everything was clean and everything looked really nice. Huge shout out to the staff because they were really nice. The lady who made the breakfast even asked us if we wanted some hot chocolate because if we do then she would make some, and if we want other kinds of scrambled eggs then she’s ready to make some....

On the long and winding sandy road through an almost mythical forest you reach the beautifully renovated old "tanya" that is lazy days. The apartment was cool and spotless, plenty of room for a family of four, even for a longer stay. The luscious flora and fauna that surrounds the place shields it from the stresses of everyday life. A perfect place to relax.

I highly recommend the place! Extremely friendly hosts, a wonderful environment and a very tasteful accommodation with lots of wood, warm colors and a pleasant atmosphere. Delicious breakfast in the garden, in nature, in silence, near horses. I can only recommend it to everyone, it's worth a quick therapy!:)

Wonderful! It is lovingly rustic and that is fantastic. Very nice hosts. It is in the middle of the forest, 12 km from the village. Quiet, horses and a goat, the frogs are there too. We'll be back when we're around.
