Travelled to Debrecen for the first time. The hotel is located at the centre of the city. Very kind and professional staff at the reception and at the restaurant. The room was prepared to perfection. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower and absolutely delicious food and great service at the restaurant. The checkin and checkout was quick and smooth. Will choose Mercure Debrecen again without second thoughts.

Location is great, very central and easy access. Rooms are up to standard that you would expect from an Accor affiliated hotel. Service is poor compared to other 4* hotels and Accor standard.

This brand-new hotel is an excellent choice!
The central location is perfect for exploring Debrecen. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable (especially the heated floors).
The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is both friendly and professional.
The on-site sauna and fitness room are great for unwinding. Highly recommended for a modern, high-quality city stay!

Really disappointed. I arrived late at night to find that all the hotel’s parking spaces were taken. The receptionist advised me to park on the street in a public parking area, which meant I had to renew my ticket every three hours at 640 HUF/hour during the day (from 8:00 to 18:00) for two days in a row, otherwise I risked a fine. Unfortunately, there were no free spaces in the hotel garage later either.

The room itself was nice, but the bed sheets were made mostly of synthetic material, which my skin does not tolerate well. The water pressure in the bathroom was terrible, and it took me half an hour to rinse off the unpleasant-smelling shower gel.

Upon arrival, I drank the complimentary bottled water provided in the room, but it was never replaced. When I tried the minibar, I found it completely empty, except for one half-used bottle of energy drink, apparently left by a previous guest.

Overall, this stay was very disappointing, and I will never return to this hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, with cozy beds that made for a restful night. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, with plenty of variety. The fitness area was a nice bonus, and the underground parking made everything very convenient. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the city center. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Everything is fine, just don't forget anything. You will never find the forgotten items, no matter if they are cheap or expensive.

Nice hotel in the city center. Everything is clean, we just found someone’s m&m uneaten in the chair. There is only one chair, the armchair is not very suitable as a replacement for the chair. A terribly soft mattress, if you are used to medium hardness, then it’s just horror-horror. Varied delicious breakfast.
