The first impression was excellent all the way until one problem after the other kept popping up.
The hairdryer did not work at all. The towels are due for replacement. The bathroom floor got flooded during the second night. The shower door was broken although it got fixed immediately. The flooding did not occur consequential to the broken shower door but due to structural shortcoming.
No management is represented in the premises at all except for checking you in and collecting the fee.
The panzio is fortunate to have a supreme location and a very conscious and kind housekeeper, Kati who tried her absolute best to be as accommodating as she could under the depilatory conditions.
Running a business especially when it is very seasonal comes with expenses not only revenue.
This panzio could do much more profitable if they paid more attention to the quality of their business operation.
The rooms were very clean except for the troubling inconveniences. Stayed for two nights and did not expect the aforementioned calamities.

Lovely little hotel with tidy and cozy rooms. Unfortunately breakfast was not available due to renovations of the dining room. (Or rather the pandemic circumstances.) The adjoining pizzeria was open, though, but it wasn’t too welcoming and suitable for dinner so I left. Moderately priced, they helped with parking and the owner was kind.

Nice place, friendly staff, but the food's quality was unacceptably low. Bland, unimaginative, prepared on the level of an amateur home cook. I had better meals at lower prices in school cafeterias.

If I could give no stars that would be this place. Buyer beware. The place is very run down and dirty, old linens, old dirty everything. It is family run and they are crazy to say the least. You have to walk though the pizza shop to get to the dirty rooms from 1960 or Bates motel style. They lock the gate of the shop in the evening whatever time they feel like it because no one and I mean no one ever eats there. After my third day, they informed me I had to be in by 10pm and it wouldn't open until 6am. Umm.... Crack heads!! I quickly packed up and got the hell out of there. Worst place to stay in miskolc and the world for that matter. I could stand the old rooms, but the crazy family... No, time to get the hell out of Dodge

Nice decoration, friendly staff, very good drinks and fantastic, really hot (not cold) food - a goose soup, hungarian medallions and Gundel pancakes.

Modern, super-clean room, good working air conditioner, 1st class mattresses, uber friendly and helpful landlady.

Opinion about a restaurant olny: nice decoration, friendly staff, very good drinks and fantastic, really hot (not cold) food - a goose soup, hungarian medallions and Gundel pancakes.
[edit] A year after we had also a very good meal there: beef red wine goulash and - again - hungarian style pork medallions :-) Still very good (finom)!
