Breakfast was super Hungarian, which was comforting: fresh bread, delicious salami and cheese, and the good old TV paprika (a pointy sweet pepper). It might seem like an unusual selection compared to other hotels’ more “international” breakfast spreads, but it has its own charm, especially after being away from Miskolc — and Hungary — for 22 years.
The rooms are a little dated, but it didn’t bother me in the slightest. They were clean, comfortable, and had a certain charm. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return.
