Hotels in Kaposvar

Hotel is old, all facilities are old, maintenance not good, cleaning is not goos

Old hotel, facilities are very old and needed to be fixed.

Set your expectations! Its a 2 star and its cheap BUT its a very comfortable bed, good location, good staff. Air con with remote provided by reception. It's a good stay.

perfect location, great staff the hotel is located right in the middle of the town , so much so that you are sitting for breakfast facing the town's main church from just a few meters away. the staff is also very friendly. for the first time in our journies, the receptionist have offered to fill out our guest forms so we can go to sleep with our baby. it was super kind. the breakfast and housekeeping...

Really nice hotel. It reminds me style 1930 from the inside, 1970 from the outside. Room for 3 was huge, 2 rooms. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious, not so huge variaty, but so so tafesfull. I would come to this hotel the next time!

We have the opportunity to stay at Kapos Hotel and it was awesome! Nice view from the balcony, great food at dinner, also the breakfast was tasty! But the staff is unbelievable,,very kind and helpful! I recomand!

Very good accommodation. We were with a group of 10 people at the end of August. Everything was fine. Family atmosphere, helpful, kind people, the hosts. I can only recommend it!

If I can recommend any accommodation, this is the one at its best. Friendly owner. Swimming pool, bacon grill, outdoor oven, well-kept garden, saltwater plunge pool, ping pong. Almost brand new building, furniture. We got a huge room. In the middle of the building, a huge plant lives its wonderful world. Kitchen is very well equipped. Shop 100 meters away. The whole apartment is of hotel quality. thank...

Beautiful surroundings, kind and professional guest reception. We felt very comfortable at the accommodation, there are so many opportunities to relax and recharge. We were especially happy that it is pet friendly, so we could bring our little pets.:) Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!:)

Nagyon jó szálláshely. Jó a medence, biliárd, tökéletes elhelyezkedés.

We were met with friendly hospitality, a clean and well-kept environment, in which our children (2.5 and 7.5 year old girls) also found their place! There are chickens, dogs and a rustic atmosphere. There is a barbecue, a high-quality play castle and a large swimming pool. My children hardly wanted to leave the accommodation, they were very well kept by the owners. Nice rooms with comfortable beds...

I had the opportunity to go to the place on a class trip and I was not disappointed. I would say that it exceeded expectations if it were, but unfortunately it was not, as there were minor problems. Basically, I am happy with the attitude of the owners (helpful team) and I can mention the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place as positives. The services are pretty much okay (Although as I see it,...

A perfect spot for a relaxing weekend escape. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and equipped with excellent bathrooms. The wellness area is beautifully done, offering more than enough space for everyone to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and more. The breakfast selection is impressive, with a wide variety of fresh options. Easily one of the better spreads I’ve seen at a hotel. Highly recommended...

The hotel itself is located outside the center, in a quiet side street. The room was very large and nicely furnished, but rather gloomy. The hotel is nice overall, but shows some traces of disrepair: some of the automatic lights on the corridor did not work, so one had to navigate in the dark; the minibar fridge was removed; the soap container in the bathroom was broken off etc.. Also, I did not see...

The hotel consist of two parts a newer area which is 4 star and an older original area, but overall needs a good re decoration and up dating throughout, felt more like a 3 star hotel, just comparing when have visited other 4 star hotels. It really has space and existing facilities to be a great 4 or even 5 star hotel. But on the contrary the rooms are spacious, have good size balconies which are...

We loved this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped (except for a drying rack for swimwear...) and all staff members were helpful, especially the lovely lady in the restaurant. Food was delicious and plenty. The pool was clean and the sauna and hot tub excellent. The gym was a bit basic and too warm, but available.

The hotel is in a residential area (unusual for a hotel). It has a few parking spaces in front and a small parking lot in the inner courtyard. The rooms are large and spacious. The bathroom is okay and clean. The carpet in the room is quite worn. The rooms on the upper floor have a balcony, while the ground floor rooms have access to an inner courtyard (perfect for smokers). The pool is quite small...

Moto stop on the way to Bosnia. The hotel fulfilled everything. Dinner is very tasty, breakfast too. I recomend

There are good and bad things, the bad part first: It's not worth getting full pension, as they serve the same food all week, with no variety but the taste is not bad. Plates, cutlery, glasses, and where the food is served are mostly dirty and poorly cleaned. Also when I took water from the machine for my daughter, it came out dirty, as the machine is not clean, so reccommend you to buy whater and...

I recently stayed here for one night and this was an ok experience. Check-in was smooth but lacked a bit of friendliness; no smiles, no 'welcome to our hotel', The room was big and clean as was the bathroom, but in comparison with the room size, this was a small area. The shower door didn't close properly but on the other hand the shower was excellent. Bed's were ok. Soundproofing is not the strongest...

Decent rooms and decent breakfast

It was an easy process. We felt safe and the breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff were courteous but will benefit from additional customer service training such as smiling and show some excitement about the work.

The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

Those who love nature will really like it, as it is located in a forest. The road up the mountain is quite winding, it has its own atmosphere. The atmosphere is family-friendly, homely. Small hotel. Reception is very nice and friendly. Room quality and equipment 10/10. There is a buffet breakfast, the selection could be a little bigger, but the price-value ratio is great! If you love being in nature...

I recently had to stay over for one night and picked this hotel, which turned out to be a good choice. The hotel is beautifully located on top of the mountain. It's modern and they have sufficient parking space. I was checked in by a friendly member of staff. My room was spacious, had a fantastic bed and a walk-in shower. Two remarks I want to make: the airconditioning is not the best of it's kind...

This hotel feels like home, but even better. The rooms are clean, nice and spacious. The room has a mini fridge. The staff are always very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated above Pécs, in a magical forest. We love to come "home" here every time, we visit Pécs.

Perfectly quite location, ideal for a romantic getaway. The hotel's modern but nature friendly style perfectly fits in the foresty environment, ideal for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet stay away from the noisy city life. The hotel is only a 10 mins drive from the city centre too, so it's easy to pop out for a romantic dinner too.

Highly recommend! It's the place to relax and recharge your batteries in beautiful surroundings. The staff extremely friendly, especially Bianka, the receptionist. She is a Gem. Her bubbly personality adds something extra to this place that you can't find anywhere else. She went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs are met. Cannea wait our next visit in December. All the best to the Team...

Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. I liked the idea. Very clean rooms. Big space in it. Very comfortable. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement). Location is on the outskirts of the city, but the view is gorgeous. I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent value for money! The rooms were clean and tidy, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and perfectly sufficient to start the day. Regarding the location, we believe it’s something each guest chooses according to their own preferences when booking. For us, the location was perfect, which is one of the main reasons we selected this hotel. Everything we...

Perfect small hotel for a short vacation. Very clean room, tasty food, close to the old town centre.

Very nice hotel, close to the city center. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent.I can recommend this hotel.

This is a great place to stay overnight on a trip. I can even imagine to stay few nights. Hotel has a private parking, it’s easy to find. The receptionist spoke English, room was spacious and comfortable. Just be ready to walk a few stairs to get around, but they do have an elevator as well. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty with a great service! Totally recommend!!!

Very convenient location on the edge of the old town. There's an underground parking available. Széchenyi tér is reachable in like 5 minutes on foot. I was a bit disappointed that we had to fill out the registration cards upon arrival. It hasn't happened to me anywhere in Europe for at least 5 years. The year is 2025. If they want the guests to fill out the check-in, they should have some on-line check...

Great location for a mid range price. Great customer service.

Very clean and new facilities, worth buying

The best place to stay in Pécs Excellent service with very helpful friendly receptionist at great hotel with super clean room. When visiting Pécs, this is the place to stay.

This hotel was beautifully appointed, especially the wooden ceiling in the breakfast room. The fitted mattress sheet was rough and not comfortable, but the top cover and pillows were. The shower was awkward because of the half glass at the tub. The first night the room was too hot, and we could not lower the temperature on the air conditioner; however, the second night we opened the large door to the...

Wonderful hotel, awesome staff, tasty breakfast, excellent location! Everything you need !! Please book this hotel !! Won’t be disappointed! We are coming back for sure !! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

We planned to go on March but due to unexpected reason we had to cancel and they were very flexible to move to another date. The hotel was clean and comfortable, they suggested to go to the roof with a glass of wine bc the panoramic was wonderful :) So they were very helpful however the receptionist was not familiar with the public transport possibilities. I really recommend this hotel to families...

Clean and comfortable rooms, with great location.

Hotel is located just off the main square. However is about a twenty minute walk from the railway station. Good choice for breakfast, which is served from 0700.

Everything. Nice staff. Easy check-in. Hot showers. Breakfast was delicious. Comfy bed. Perfect location. The city is wonderful. One of if not the best vacation I have ever had. 100% I'd like to return.

Vacation This is a great hotel - well managed, clean, spacious, friendly services and excellent location ( right in front Pecs main old town square, Szechenyi ter).

BEST place in Pécs Hungary Will be back again and again All the best András Molnar

Great location near center ,young but pleasant stuff ,all recomendations.

The location was great. The staff was great - they helped me check in very late at night and cheerfully printed out documents I needed for a presentation. The room was quite comfortable. The one issue is that the base of the shower did not contain the water, so each time I showered there was a little flood in the bathroom.

Located 100 m from the main square of Pécs, great location with its own private parking. Reception is very nice, room is perfect. Breakfast is outstanding! Great coffee, with local acacia honey, delicious tea with fresh lemon juice, ample selection. If a quality breakfast is important, come here! Good value for money

Nice, quiet, elegant and cozy. Stayed there a few rimes already. Always delivered a very the stabdard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can only recommend

The hotel is centrally located, everything is within walking distance. Overall a very clean and nicely decorated hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Would highly recommend.

Our new favorite in Pecs We started staying here 2 years ago. We enjoy the service and the convenience. Penny's place in page where you have a regular parking spot is wonderful. Paige is such a beautiful city and we love coming here every so often. Just to walk around and enjoy the ambiance. Your room had everything we need. The bed is a little bit hard but that's normal for Hungary. Being off the...

A high-quality place with professional and friendly staff. Apart from us, almost only foreigners stayed here, the hotel is apparently most popular with Germans. The sauna can be booked separately. The historic city center is a few minutes walk away.

The small boutique hotel was excellent and spotless. The service was very good. The workers were very helpful. They gave excellent advice for dining. The place was only 250 metres from my ETC training. I did not have to rent a car. The area was very safe. The street however has some decaying not well maintained houses. Abandoned land just across. The breakfast and the coffee was very nice.

Central, easy parking, professional staff. Clean friendly Recommended

A beautiful hotel with very classy chic interiors. Very friendly staff, ideal location and amazing breakfast. We loved it.

Basic rooms, but very rich , varied breakfast and perfect location.

Impressive building, nice exterior and classical interior, extremely well situated in the city centre, friendly staff and favourable prices. The breakfast is OK, the rooms are very small.

Very nice traditional hotel in the city center. The room was clean and big enough. The furnitures are old from the '90s. There is air condition. Finn sauna is free. Breakfast is served in the hugh and beautifull restaurant hall. Wifi is free.

Stayed in April 2017 for one night, we would go again. Lovely Art Nouveau atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, great location on the main street (Kiraly Utca). Our Superior room was nice, comfortable, quiet and clean, but very very small, we were glad we had just a small backpack. Overall, good value for money.

This is an 800-year-old building with modern and practical interior decoration and spacious rooms. It is stress-free for a family of four to stay in. I just don't know why when booking the hotel it showed that it could only accommodate two adults and one child. It takes a long time for the bath water to get hot water. In addition, there is a chair where the kettle is placed. When standing up from that...

Adele Apartment has an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the main attractions, the mosque and the square, but the hotel is hidden in a small residential street and is very quiet and comfortable. The apartment is very well decorated, very tasteful and well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, except for the lack of a washing machine, which is a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel...

Very nice and helpful staff, very good location, good parking.

Reception was friendly, but at checkout a nasty experience for a parking space, 10 euros charge was not mentioned and was not reported bathroom was not clean, several lamps did not work and the TV only for the Hungarian, no for us, definitely next time

Our room was beautiful and the location was great.

A very nice and clean hotel, good breakfast (unfortunately served in the basement), the spa area is lovely, and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there's no bar/restaurant.

Beautiful rooms. Only the mattresses were much too hard.

Super! Very friendly and professional staff; many thanks to Regina at the reception for her assistance and support.

Reception staff and their attitude This is a hotel we've stayed at before. We usually like it; it's clean and spacious. However, on this trip, strangely, from check-in to check-out, they repeatedly asked when we would pay the city taxes and parking fees. They even started asking while we were still handling our luggage. Their excuse was that some people try to avoid paying. They need to stop treating...

Probably the best hotel experience in Hungary. Very clean, new, excellent bed etc.

The ambiance was very cosy. The style of the hotel is so modern and beautyful. The staff was extremly kind and helpful! They made us feel like we are at home with our relatives! You can find everything you need during breakfast and we have got a nice, clean, comfortable room wich was so styleish and we even had a balcony with flowers outside. Was so good to wake up for the view! My girlfriend had birthday...

Excellent location! Excellent room!

Very good budget hotel in the city center. Free parking lot, good restaurant in house - indian/pakistanian. Nice staff, clean rooms very good price/quality ratio.

Good place, to make small gathering

Very good hostel, main blocking point is the fact that in our room, the toilet should be repaired (room n°7)

Comfortable and quiet. Good price and good breakfast. Location was perfect for exploring Pecs. Friendly staff too.

Everything about Hotel Diana was outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and plenty of options to choose from. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. The location is perfect and easy to walk everywhere around Pècs. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will be back next year my kid graduates from University.

The staff was very friendly and gave me tips about Pecs but I also shared nice conversations with them. During my stay, there was a couple staying at the hotel which ate vegan and the staff went out of their way to accomodate there needs. So nice and so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly, very central, very nice and clean. Old fashioned family hotel in the middle of Pécs. Warm and welcoming staff, large rooms with air conditioning, fridge and tv. Spacious bathroom. Nice and simple breakfast with all you need to get going. Reception not open all the time, but the friendliest staff you can imagine being there whenever you need. Will visit again!

The service was prompt and very friendly. This is an excellent location not far from city center. Walking distance to the bus station, a HUGE piac and Churches, historical sites. Mall is across the street. Only 3 stars for the room, the beds were too hard to sleep comfortably.

Such a great little hotel! Receptionist was very helpful, very nice and positive, was smiling and informative. Breakfast very very delicious and you plenty of choices, from eggs to oats and home made cakes too. Room and bathroom were nice and clean! They also have their own parking!

A great hotel with nice rooms and very friendly staff. Located right next to the Arkad so all the shopping/dining is a few steps away.

The hotel has a great location, not far from the city center, with a shopping mall and parking right across the street. The staff were friendly, and our room was large and spacious. We appreciated the small kitchen area, which included a refrigerator and microwave. The modern decor and comfortable bed were also nice touches. However, there were a few issues. There's no elevator, which was a problem...

Nice room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpful staff. In the middle of the town.

Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was OK, personel nice. But beware: paking is hard to find and is a bit expensive. The worst was an aircondition machine below the window, making a noise all the night (switching on and off). Another issue was a light right behind the window, switching on and off too.

The location of the hotel is more than perfect. It is located in the center of the city, in the very heart of the city. On the other hand, on the side and front of the hotel is Arkad Shopping Center (you have a variety of options for a quick meal). You have city parking in front of the hotel as well as in the surrounding area. You can almost always find a parking space.I used the Easy park app to pay...

Had a very nice stay at Hotel Central in one of the apartments. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and better equipped but we were overall satisfied. Tasty breakfast and the option to take it up to your rooms, lovely and talkative staff, best value for money.

The room was fairly good, reception was OK. There was a very good breakfast buffet. However, if you want a guaranteed parking place, you have to pay an extra fee.

Everybody was very helpful, the location is perfect, room is clean. We travelled with dog, everything was petfriendly.

This self-named Boutique Hotel is in a historical building, painted in bright yellow and carrying the name of Pecs in Roman times. A bit of a shock, when arriving, is the fact that it is just by a busy three-lane street, but thanks to good soundproofing it is no problem, once inside. Reception on arrival and also later on was very friendly. My quite small room had a narrow single bed, but enough storage...

Overall comfortable stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Big room, although outdated. Breakfast was OK. For the price I paid, it was not that great. But, it was not terrible, not excellent, so average.

Very Old but still cozy Historical place. Very very old hotel. Hotell will need a upgrade soon. Smelled cloac also.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of options. The staff is warm, friendly, and really makes me feel at home. This is my second time staying here, and I am very satisfied with the experience. Highly recommended!

It's a shame my room (because I book here often) isn't quite as quiet. Otherwise, the stay is always excellent.

Great hotel, definitely the best in Pecs. Awesome breakfast. Nice and big rooms.

Nice hotel, very well located, nice big rooms, good service, excellent breakfast. Food in the restaurant is otherwise just OK.

Nice place! Good service. Reasonably priced. Good location. Even got a pretty decent restaurant. Recommended.

It was a nice hotel. The staff was attentive and friendly. We hope to see you on our next vacation plans.

Our corner room was bright and spacious and Pèçs was a very pleasant surprise for us. Breakfast was just OK. Not much to choose from àn̈d we felt like we were intruding if we stayed past 9:30. Worst of all, the front desk staff, while finding and helpful, failed to share vital information that would have been very helpful. For instance, we were not told that are room key needed to be inserted with...

It's a beautiful place to stay, highly recommended for those who looking for exclusive and high standard rooms to stay for a generous price.

The room was spacious and with a good value .Very clean and tidy and well-air conditioned . Since it's a self-checking hotel ,I'd rather the instructions about the passcode of the main door and the rooms to be informed prior to arrival to the guests , so they won't have to contact the recipient by phonecalls.(some of the international guests don't have access to international calls and the recipition...

Very comfortable bed, very good (big and silent) fride in the room, air conditioning was a gift in this hot sommer period. Friendly and helpful crew, in case of issue they were cooperative as well. Unfortunatley the smell in the bathroom is not every time the best, but it has to be accepted (long story with neighboors). Small parking opportunity, but you can figure out a place in the surrounding.

New hotel, nice rooms, private wellness facility, buffet breakfast. Very close to Zsolnay square and Kodaly Concert hall. I recommend!

It is great apartment. Very clean and cosy and very easy to find.

Appropriate value for money Near Zsolnay, but further from the city center. A little dirty toilet was received, but the bug was quickly fixed.

The hotel is very close to the local strand, has its own restaurant and also has several restaurants in the vecinity. It was a good choice for one night, as we were passing by. We had a rich breakfast. There is also the possibility to have lunch or dinner, menu a la carte, a bar is also on place. The mosquitos really bothered us during our evening walk and on the balcony.

very good restaurant a kind waiter served us even though it was very late, great gulasz

Food was decent, the beach was close. Thats all you need

Very nice people nice ,good food and Ballaton was great and it's not deep ideal for kids as long as they stay near the shore line in places where they have made beaches

Very nice hotel, we stayed for 9 days on a seminar. Clean, good food, nice people. Really recommend.
