The rooms were clean and tidy, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and perfectly sufficient to start the day.
Regarding the location, we believe it’s something each guest chooses according to their own preferences when booking. For us, the location was perfect, which is one of the main reasons we selected this hotel. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance.
A big plus is the free parking, which further enhances the overall value of the stay.
Overall, the hotel truly offers excellent value for money and we would gladly stay here again.
I was a bit disappointed that we had to fill out the registration cards upon arrival. It hasn't happened to me anywhere in Europe for at least 5 years. The year is 2025. If they want the guests to fill out the check-in, they should have some on-line check-in app like most hotels have these days, so that you could do it in advance and didn't have to waste time at the reception writing it by hand after a long trip.
The room was clean, spacious, but incredibly hot (in February). We turned off the heating and opened the window, but it took a long time to get a comfortable temperature for sleeping. The mattress, however, was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. It was also really quiet, so we got a very good sleep despite the initial temperature trouble.
Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options. The breakfast room was clean, and the food was kept replenished.
All the staff were really nice and welcoming.
The reason why I cannot give 5 stars is the fact that the air-conditioning was not working, although they claimed to had fixed it after I reported the problem. This made the temperature in the room very uncomfortable as opening the windows is not really an option if your room is facing the street as it is very busy and noisy until quite late in the night, and traffic starts early in the morning.
