HI hostel

We hated the place so much that we skipped the second night we'd reserved, despite the high cost. We had a cramped basement room. The ducks nesting loudly just next to the window was kind of charming, but not for everyone. The dog barked loudly at night and early in the morning (7:15). The bunk beds were rickety and loud when we turned over in our sleep-- very noisy so you can hear the drunk singing upstairs. Some of this can be expected at a hostel, but not with the price versus amenities. One of the bathrooms was out of service and there were only 2 showers/baths for many, many rooms. We had no Wifi in our room despite it being promised in the description. The price was EXTREMELY high for what we got (over 400 Euros for 2 nights-- make sure you check the exchange rates as they don't give refunds). Potential guests, beware.

I was not very impressed by this hostel. There were only two bathrooms and the hostel was fully booked. It seems some other bathrooms were under construction. One of the available bathrooms smelled badly and there was mold in the shower. The beds were comfortable enough and the included breakfast was nice. If the bathroom situation were to be resolved, it is a fine place to stay.
