Kósý Vík in Vik

Do yourself a favor and stay here while in Vik. Loveliest host, clean rooms, privacy, everything you need. We stayed there for one night only while In Vik and I wish it was longer. Coffee maker, hair dryer, in your room. Oh, and the breakfast, absolutely wonderful. Everything was absolutely perfect. Due to availability issues we had to stay a second night In Vik in another hotel, named after a famous bird here in Iceland and we were so disappointed, it didn't even compare to this place.

The hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean and it smelled fresh. The rooms were spacious and simple. It is located near Black Sand Beach and good restaurants. There is also plenty of tea and coffee available in the hallway where the rooms are.

Stayed two separate nights. One night in the front of the hotel and one in the extension. The only issue we had was the room in the extension didn't have temperature control and it was quite warm.

Breakfast is included. It has the normal Icelandic items, plus fresh waffles!

We stayed in the hotel portion of the building. Very clean and nice sized rooms. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Good breakfast, too. And it's only a short walk from the restaurant downtown.

Room was large, newly renovated it seems. Great bathroom with big shower. Had everything we needed. Only downside was that the room smelled damp. Reception was great and super helpful, both the receptionists we encountered. Breakfast was perfect for our needs, loved the added touch of the waffles, have missed Nordic waffles. Great location, close to the beach and Smidjan Brygghus. Would stay again.

Room is simple, clean and comfortable. Just a little small.
Location is easy to find and near restaurants and various attractions.
Breakfast is simple but save us the trouble of finding food elsewhere as there are not many selections for breakfast.
Plenty of parking spots

Nice little place to spend the night at a great spot having said that rooms are quite old and had no amenities. Would definitely go back while driving through the ring road.

Beautiful place to be in Vik. The Host is a really warm hearted person, she has made us feel at home. Great Breakfast, well located, super suggested! Thank you!
