The cabin is well constructed and very clean. Spacious room with kitchen and a living room. Private bathroom, shower works great without any clogging. Comfortable but a little small beds. The bedding is of high quality cotton.

This place was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals, and the bathrooms were very private and well-kept. The views are AMAZING! 100% recommend this place!

Was here in Sept 2023. Cozy place and despite strong storm and cold weather, we feel so warm inside. Kitchen clean and abundance of toilet. Meet good Denmark old couple and have good chat.. There is farm and nice waterfall just behind the place

Only 4 stars, as the description of the property varies wildly between sites. The name is either Havarí Hostel or Bráz Hostel, they might or might not have breakfast included (we didn't find any), and they might or might not have laundry services (we also couldn't find this). Rooms, bedding, and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-organized.

Simple and clean with a great view.

Great place if you are heading to East Iceland and the fjords. The owners are very nice and the hostel only has 6 rooms so it's very comfortable and not overcrowded. Kitchen is complete and shared refrigerator big enough for each room to have their own shelf.

It was a beautiful environment! The mountains and the stream and the waterfall. Beautiful. A cosy little cabin with two bedrooms. We could cosy up on the couch as well and watch a movie.

Surprisingly nice play to stay I was honestly expecting an extremely rustic little cottage and this definitely wasn’t luxury but it was much prettier and more pleasant than I expected. The valley the cabins are located in is beautiful! Check in/out was super easy. Cabin was relatively clean. There was clearly some water damage in a few areas but overall a nice stop over stay.

Great overnight stay on our Ring Road road trip. Convenient to have a restaurant onsite. Beautiful setting and easily accessible hiking trails walking distance. Spacious cottage with plenty of room and amenities our family of four. Had everything we needed!

Staying in Dupivorgu is mainly a last resort choice for the itinerary. There is no hotel available in Hofn that day. All the rooms in this hotel are in a large wooden house, with ant nest rooms on both sides of the narrow corridor. The room was very small, and the bathroom was closed with a simple curtain. The room had a smell, and the bathroom also had a rancid smell. I survived for one night and...

Not your normal stay.. We like novelty stays and camping and this fit both in a country we never thought we would visit. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The communal facilities were spotlessly clean for a campsite and the accommodations were amazing. Thanks for the memory

The service staff in the hotel are very friendly and the prices in the restaurant are very reasonable. The room in the camping area has a comfortable temperature and the bed is very comfortable, but the space is a bit insufficient and not suitable for luggage. The bathroom and toilet are outside but it's warm and not cold at all.

A quirky structure and great for a unique experience but also actually really cosy inside with wooden curved walls. Three beds, table and chairs, heater and a shower block nearby. Situation is in the heart of town. Great fun and really sweet to stay in.

Due to circumstances we made a last minute reservation and arrived at 22h. We were very warmly welcomed and even got the opportunity to upgrade our room to one with a private bathroom, free of charge. The common kitchen is cosy and well equiped. We had the pleasure to stay in the old house which is from 1906 and has been used as a hostel for over 50 years now. The house is kept in it's old condition with some necessary modernizations. So the ambience in there is quite cozy and calm even if the weather may be stormy and rainy. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the nereby sheep are adorable. We really loved it here and hope to come...

We found Berunes by chance and what a lovely place to stop over in the campervan. The facilities were first class and the host was helpful, considerate and sensible. We stopped during the storm and it rained the whole time unfortunately so missed out on the local walks and had to do with sitting in the bar drinking the locally brewed brown ale - but it was red ale mmmm

SUCH a lovely place. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tiny cabin, so cozy and a perfect fit for our group.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Our wooden chalet was small and cozy, well equipped and had a fridge and 2 armchairs. However what made our stay really good was the dining room. Nice place with comun areas and complete kitchen for cooking whatever you need, in a charming town.

It was an unmanned hotel; when I arrived around 7 PM, no one answered the door (there was no notice on the door). Other guests told me I had to go to "Hotel Framtid" on the street to get the key. The room was fairly comfortable, and the living room and kitchen doors were large.

The hostel is well-equipped, with spacious and adequate rooms. The kitchen is very complete, and the common areas are pleasant. Parking is free and easily accessible. The bathroom could be improved; the entire floor was wet. The fire alarm went off almost at midnight, which wasn't very pleasant. Check-in was convenient.

Clean with lots of space in rooms and common areas. Kitchen had multiple stoves, ovens, sinks, ketles, etc. for all. Sitting area was jice and had a foosball table, which was nice. Oveall great place for our family.

This was a wonderful place to stay outside Hofn. The staff was friendly, the cottages are comfortable and charming, and the breakfasts were delicious. It was probably my favorite place to stay in Iceland. We watched northern lights from our deck.

An amazing stay! The views were breathtaking, and the rooms spotless with high-quality bedding, a great shower, and lovely toiletries. Breakfast was outstanding, full of delicious homemade treats. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to witness a stunning aurora display. I’d highly recommend this place!
