DISGRACEFUL MANAGEMENT & DOUBLE-BOOKED BEDS - AVOID!
​This was hands-down the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. We checked in at 7:30 PM, and the staff assigned us specific bed numbers on a paper slip. After returning from chasing the Northern Lights at 1:30 AM, we found strangers sleeping in OUR assigned beds. We found another slip on the trash can with the EXACT same bed numbers written in the same handwriting—the owner had double-booked our beds!
​There was NO ONE at the front desk and no one answered the emergency phone. We were stranded in the middle of the night, forced to check every single bed in the hostel just to find a place to sleep. We contacted Trip.com, but even they couldn't reach the owner.
​The next morning, instead of apologizing for their massive mistake, the owner was incredibly hostile and aggressive. He accused us of "playing games" and rudely said, "I know what you are playing," simply because we requested a refund for the nightmare they caused. His attitude was disgusting and unprofessional. He eventually gave a refund with extreme reluctance, without even a basic greeting or apology.
​Save your money and your sanity. Do not stay here.
