The guesthouse is split into separate buildings. The rooms we booked were rather small and the bathroom was really tiny... the cleanliness of the rooms were acceptable at best. Breakfast was good.
The location was very good. Belwo a waterfall with a lake on top. The hike up there took about 15min with some steep parts, but definitley worth checking out

Simple guesthouse with simple amenities. Service staff was polite. Breakfast was simple but homely. Safe environment.

Clean and simple room. Shared amenities. Unusual breakfast. We were given a plate with croissant, juice, apple, hard boiled egg, rasher of cold bacon and cheese and cucumber. Not what I was expecting. Seemed a bit wasteful as I really don't desire cucumber for breakfast. Croissant was fresh and lovely.

I expected this was going to be an odd hotel, but it was more bizarre than I expected. It is made up of tons of buildings and doesn't have the feel of a normal place to stay. Almost more like a hostel. It is crazy expensive for what it is, but that is more due to location than the quality of room. I would suggest to just bring food with you for breakfast. The breakfast is a plate of subpar breads, a boiled egg, and a little bit of cheese. It isn't buffet style, they just hand you a plate when you walk in for breakfast in the morning. Which, unfortunately seemed to produce a lot of unnecessary food waste. The room did feel clean, so that was the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

The basalt black sand beach is 84 kilometers from the hotel. //1. There are no supermarkets or restaurants near the hotel. If you need to dine, consider ordering meals in advance at the hotel restaurant, or stop by a supermarket on the way to the hotel and pick up some groceries. 2. The rooms are clean, with double and single beds in separate areas (children feel comfortable having their own separate areas), and you can turn on the heating if needed. 3. The rooms are well-equipped, including a kettle and hairdryer. 4. The hotel has a communal laundry room, which is convenient for washing and drying dirty clothes from your trip. 5. Breakfast is rationed. When you report your room number in the restaurant, the staff will bring each guest a generous breakfast tray, including a croissant, sliced bread, cheese, a boiled egg, juice, and fruit. The staff will ask if you would like ham and, if so, will place a slice on each guest's plate. 6. There is a river in front of the hotel, and you can walk along the path to see the local horses and sheep. 7. The hotel does not provide shower slippers, so it is recommended that you bring your own slippers before departure. During this tour around Iceland, I stayed in 8 hostels/hotels, and none of them provided slippers.

We stayed at here for one night during our road trip along Iceland’s South Coast, and it was one of the best accommodations of our trip! clean rooms with scenic views and Free parking and helpful staff
Anyway No nearby stores or gas stations (plan ahead!) and little bathroom

I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. For what you pay, the room and shower were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location is awesome, right next a beautiful foss. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant across the street has some of the best food we've ever had. As for the breakfast, the plate of food was ready as soon as we walked in and had plenty of options as far as bread and cereal, the crossaint and cheese were especially tasty. The coffee was fresh, and there were several different options for milk and sugar. We were only here one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The breakfast is very basic and served on plates. Most of stuff I do not eat. No negotiations. What to do? Maybe do not stay here.
There is a restaurant in this place. I ordered 30 cm (12 in) pizza. The one I got was at most 20 cm in diameter. By area and content two times smaller. They admitted. The price was the same and negotiations failed. The food went to garbage, I left. This is only one of many examples of possible cheating in Iceland. Like parkings, hotels, flights, drinks, food, ... It is definitely my last visit to this country.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. There is a waterfall right behind the accommodation accessible by a 3-minute path. The accommodation was clean. There was a kettle outside in the lobby. Unfortunately the breakfast was poor. They gave you a plate with 1 croissant, 1 slice of bacon, 1 slice of cheese, 2 slices of cucumber, 1 egg, 2 slices of wholemeal toast, 10g butter, 10g orange jam, 1 orange juice and an apple. When we asked for more bacon they told us that only 1 slice corresponds to the person. When we asked for a different flavor of jam they did not have to offer us. So if you do not eat any of these it is not worth booking this room for breakfast, there are better accommodations with breakfast for the same price. There was also a sign in the bathroom telling us to limit our bathing to 5 minutes so that the hot water could reach everyone. Also the room did not have any toiletries. No hospitality.

The hotel is in a great location, and it's easy to walk to anywhere. The owner was very happy to help call a taxi, and the taxi picked us up on time on the day we left. It was very smooth.
