Very convenient check-in. Super cute place. Hot tub was amazing.

We arrived late but Cindy was there to greet us and give us our key and overview of the property. She was also there at the excellent breakfast and chatted with us about her life in Iceland and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We saw whales from the pier and walked along the quiet beach. Overall an excellent stay.

Staff was excellent, personable & attentive. Room was a little small but adequate, very clean & comfy. Great rural location with amazing views of the sound & mountains.

A wonderful experience! The inn is located in a very well-done conversion of a school that is part of a compound that includes a church and cemetery. A very relaxing country atmosphere. Room was very comfortable and big, equipped with a small frigo and the necessary for preparing breakfast in the morning (coffee, tea, culterly etc.). Moreover very very clean. Isafjordur is a little treasure.

We stayed not in the guesthouse but the same people's self catering apartment in a residential block at 20 Tungata nearby. It was excellent, satellite TV, full residential type kitchen with all the equipment, cutlery and crockery you would have at home, big comfortable bed with loads of wardrobe space. Fantastic host! Had some great tips about the town and surrounding areas. This was the best equipped place we've stayed in Iceland! It was very cosy, and even though there wasn't a communal kitchen, the host set up each room with even more things than you'd find in a communal kitchen (plastic wrap, kettle, coffee maker, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, scissors, chocolate bars, microwave, all utensils...

The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a lovely view of the fjord. Plenty of free parking was available. Internet worked well. Wonderful dinner and drinks in the modern restaurant, and the prices seemed reasonable for Iceland. Would 100% stay here again.

Dated hotel, some rooms seem to have received refurbishment however ours was very dated. Good breakfast, and good location.

A good hotel in an AMAZING location. Definitely worth a stay, but don't expect big city luxury. Expect the kind of luxury you'd find in a VERY remote northern town. Excellent service, lovely breakfast, nice stay 🙂

Some confusion with there being three hotels in the hotel chain nearby and having to check in at one location but stay at another.

The hotel room we had was quite small. We had a queen and twin bunk beds. Not much extra space to move around. What helped a lot was the shared living area on our floor for units to share. There was a table and chairs that we used to eat dinner and play games. The included breakfast was excellent! It is in the main hotel but it is so close by.

Great place. Check in was a bit confusing but staff were helpful as there are actually two properties. Loved our stay, fantastic location
