Nice place. In the middle of the town. easy to walk around and the stay is great.

Lovely place with a very nice restaurant and bar area. Convenient location for walking around the town. Beautiful views all around.

The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a lovely view of the fjord. Plenty of free parking was available. Internet worked well. Wonderful dinner and drinks in the modern restaurant, and the prices seemed reasonable for Iceland. Would 100% stay here again.

Dated hotel, some rooms seem to have received refurbishment however ours was very dated. Good breakfast, and good location.

Staff were amazing and a great help with everything polite and kind. Knowledgeable of area, helpful with restaurants.

A good hotel in an AMAZING location. Definitely worth a stay, but don't expect big city luxury. Expect the kind of luxury you'd find in a VERY remote northern town. Excellent service, lovely breakfast, nice stay 🙂

Very comfortable hotel in the middle of town. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, great view, hotel room came with breakfast, food was great. Love this town.

Some confusion with there being three hotels in the hotel chain nearby and having to check in at one location but stay at another.

The hotel room we had was quite small. We had a queen and twin bunk beds. Not much extra space to move around. What helped a lot was the shared living area on our floor for units to share. There was a table and chairs that we used to eat dinner and play games. The included breakfast was excellent! It is in the main hotel but it is so close by.

Great place. Check in was a bit confusing but staff were helpful as there are actually two properties. Loved our stay, fantastic location

Easy check-in. Clean hotel with nice facilities. Reasonable breakfast provided.

Lovely, clean guesthouse. We had the place to ourselves which was wonderful! Huge bathroom and microwave and fridge provided. Friendly, helpful owner.

Room was very comfortable and big, equipped with a small frigo and the necessary for preparing breakfast in the morning (coffee, tea, culterly etc.). Moreover very very clean. Isafjordur is a little treasure.

Located in a residential area, this place is so quiet, clean, organized and comfortable. The room is big, clean and has good WiFi connection. We love that the room is fully equipped with everything you need : wardrobe, microwave, electric kettle, coffee/tea, fridge. The kitchenette is just outside of the room. The bathroom is big and with heated floor. The only thing we don't like is there is no hot...

Very comfortable guest house. Spotlessly clean and welcoming.

We stayed not in the guesthouse but the same people's self catering apartment in a residential block at 20 Tungata nearby. It was excellent, satellite TV, full residential type kitchen with all the equipment, cutlery and crockery you would have at home, big comfortable bed with loads of wardrobe space. Lots of tourist info to read including an Iceland guidebook, candles and a lighter. Everything was...

Fantastic host! Had some great tips about the town and surrounding areas. This was the best equipped place we've stayed in Iceland! It was very cosy, and even though there wasn't a communal kitchen, the host set up each room with even more things than you'd find in a communal kitchen (plastic wrap, kettle, coffee maker, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, scissors, chocolate bars, microwave, all utensils...

Very convenient check-in. Super cute place. Hot tub was amazing.

Stayed here with my wife and kids and had a great experience. 10/10 highly recommend. Beautiful nature and a great place to escape to that’s still close to town.

We arrived late but Cindy was there to greet us and give us our key and overview of the property. She was also there at the excellent breakfast and chatted with us about her life in Iceland and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We saw whales from the pier and walked along the quiet beach. Overall an excellent stay.

My family of four had a lovely stay at the Holt Inn. The room was spacious and clean; the property nestled in a gorgeous and peaceful valley; and the hostess Cindy (whom my 2.5 and 4.5 year olds loved) was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. To top it off, we saw the northern lights and about a million stars from the hot tub!

This was an excellent experience. The Inn is fairly simple. It's comfortable. The rooms are pretty basic, very clean and comfortable. The common areas are basic and clean and comfortable. There's a microwave in the dining area if you have leftovers or bring something simple. There's a cookie basket in the evenings. There's also a communal refrigerator in there. Breakfast is a buffet . Standard stuff...

Staff was excellent, personable & attentive. Room was a little small but adequate, very clean & comfy. Great rural location with amazing views of the sound & mountains.
