Comfy place. Has all you need for your stay. Shared bathroom only with our booking, however everything was clean and well equipped.

The room was cozy and clean, the cafe and restaurant really nice and with a great atmosphere. It was a bit loud and the breakfast was the smallest of the buffets we've had on our trip around Iceland, but it was fine.

Rooms were very clean but simple. Shower water didn't smell, which uncommon in Iceland but welcome. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good. Now the bad stuff: nothing was open in the town. Even the bar and restaurant in the hotel were closed. We had to go to Isafjordur for everything (food, activities). The town also stinks like fish (not fresh fish) because of the fish factories there. We were here in the beginning of May. I suspect if you are there in high season it may be a lot better (but probably stinkier too since it'll be hotter). I'd stay in Isofjordur next time, it's a neat little town with way more options.

The restaurant is top notch! Really great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just absolutely great for fair prices. The restaurant is also nicely decorated. I would give the restaurant 5 stars only the hotel is just depressing. The rooms are okay for one night but I would not recommend to stay longer. It would lighten up the place if they added some plants, some comfy chairs to relax in and a nice carpet. Also the shower was dirty, the water did not drain and the hairdryer did not work. The balcony in front of our room seem to be under construction, there were loose pieces of concrete everywhere.

Fisherman was a lovely place to stay in Suðureyri. My husband and I had spent the afternoon in Ísafjörður and then drove back that night to stay at the Fisherman. The drive was very easy and check-in was a breeze. The room heated up very quickly. Some rooms do have balconies on them as well. The room was very sizeable. Breakfast was available in the restaurant in the AM. You can also purchase some salmon as well that has been packaged. I would recommend checking out the Fisherman if you are looking for a place to stay if you are in the area.

Great place to stay, really accomodating as we had a 17mth old, so we had a very large room which was nice. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb, cool little town and worth a visit. Make sure to drive around the head of the fjord to see the old fishing hut as well!

Getting to this little village is interesting knowing you have to come through a one-lane tunnel. But once you're there you immediately get the fisherman's vibe. Everything is about fishing here so do not be surprised if the air smells like it too (depending on the wind).
Room was basic but nice the house had one common bathroom but you will know that as you reserved your room here. Restaurant was cozy, nice, food, beer and services good, with the happy hour offer made the stay very convenient!

The radiator in the bedroom was leaking on the floor and was totally wet. The smell in the room was terrible and it is harmful to health. No cleaning while the stay, no change of towels and the bed was not made up in the evening. I feel I got bad value for the money I paid. When you pay 200 eur you expect certain service and quality. I leave disappointed
