Hotel Isafjördur - Torg, Isafjordur1 / 21

Westfjords, Isafjordur, Silfurtorgi 2 🧭 Map
Lovely hotel room, stylish and comfortable bar area for evening drink, gorgeous breakfast views over the fjord. Lovely walks and lots to do close to hotel.
The view and the room were fine as expected. The location was downtown walking to everything.
Awesome hotel, right in the middle of Isafjordur. Location is worth it. The room was better than we expected to be, and the breakfast was amazing. Though it was a little pricier than other options, it was well worth the stay after a long (scenic) drive
Comfortable accommodations with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend. We had to get 2 rooms because we were 4 people so we had a water view and a town view. Both were beautiful!
One of the two hotels in town (both belong to the same owner). Clean, modern, friendly and helpful reception. Wifi patchy, breakfast basic, 4 tv channels available (including a Chinese channel in English).
Third floor room overlooking the fjord, other side of the hotel overlooks the street. Fairly standard hotel room could be anywhere but very clean, modern, good shower room, tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is typical but not the best choice I have seen. Would not use the restaurant as puffin was on the menu.

Nice people and facility. Restaurant was good but pricy (that’s Iceland in general)
Patreksfjordur Stay. Very nice stay. Comfortable bed, Excellent fish and chips. Friendly staff. Will come back. 👌
Nice property, clean and good breakfast. Shower is not as good, shower curtain does not work properly.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms but bath and bed area a little on the small side. Beds comfortable. Restaurant was very good but pricey.
Boring chain. We had 15 lovely guest houses or family hotels in Iceland we loved. But this place was just drab. Too corporate. Zero charm. Unfortunately it was th only place available.
The location of the hotel. Breakfast was perfect. The room is clean.

Westfjords, Isafjordur, Torfsnesi 🧭 Map
The hallways were dark and the laundry was across town. When I walked all the way to the sister hotel to do laundry it cost 3000 isk and they didn’t seem to have time for it even. The rooms are bare bones, felt like a hostel with private rooms, but still the price of a hotel. There was no soap provided. The breakfast was really good though. Made the whole experience a lot better.
Very welcoming, good size bedroom but a bit sparse. Location excellent. Given that's a boarding school through the school year I think they have done a great job presenting the place. Well worth a stay.
Clean, large, and sparsely furnished rooms, with a towel-warmer and shower in the bathroom. A bit institutional or dormish, with white walls and linens, and cold stoney floors, but the beds are comfortable, and having a desk is nice. Several nice large windows, but the curtains don't do much to block light from the ever-present sunlight during July, or the street light right outside our window. Sound...
Perfectly serviceable, as long as you can manage the front stairs. Is a boarding school in the winter and has all the aesthetics of a modern high school. Breakfast starts at 7 so you can get an early start.
The hotel is located close to downtown, it has a great view of the mountain across the fjord. The room I had was simple, two twin size beds, EXTREMELY comfortable, expecially for a spring bed. The bathroom was nice, the height of the shower head was adjustable which is important as someone who is 6'4. I'd most likely stay there again if I was in need of a hotel around Ísafjörður.
Á boarding school converted into a summer hotel. Just enaugh to lay your head at night. Friendly staff.

Westfjords, Patreksfjordur, By road 615 Kollsvikurvegur 🧭 Map
Cute place, but certainly on the older site. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was adequately spaced. This feels more like an inn given that the owners welcome you and are the ones present at dinner and breakfast (with some hired help). Dinner was good. I liked that they actually served vegetables with the meat or fish. Dinner is a set menu, so you better like the option that...
We had a great stay at Hotel Latrabjarg. We chose this place as it was close to the famous Latrabjarg bird cliffs, about a 30min drive away. The small hotel has great views over a sandy bay, but not much else around. The self check-in was easy and we were very happy with our room. Our room was large, bright, and airy with great views out to the sandy bay. The room had a nice sitting area and desk but...
This is a nice place out of the way. The room was nice. The bonus was the food. They offer a 3 course meal with two choices. (my partner does not eat fish and they made her a nice chicken dish. Tell them you are staying for dinner when you make your reservation. They are 40 minutes to the cliffs.
The Latrabjarg Hotel was perfect for my night’s stay in Látrabjarg. On top of that, the owner, Karl, was very personable and made the stay feel charming & comfortable.
Wonderful hotel. During a trip to the Westfjords in Iceland we went as far west as possible and found this amazing hotel. Beautiful location, and excellent rooms. Service was personal and forthcoming. Very much “home away from home”. We would like to keep this gem for ourselves, but we also need to be fair and share our good fortune in locating this special place. We will be back.
Hotel Latrabjarg is conveniently located near the Latrabjarg Cliffs. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The friendly staff provided excellent service and extra sightseeing recommendations. Their free breakfast has many options including meats, eggs, bread, desert, cereal and all kinds of drinks. A great bed&breakfast place!

Comfy place. Has all you need for your stay. Shared bathroom only with our booking, however everything was clean and well equipped. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff.
Fisherman was a lovely place to stay in Suðureyri. My husband and I had spent the afternoon in Ísafjörður and then drove back that night to stay at the Fisherman. The drive was very easy and check-in was a breeze. The room heated up very quickly. Some rooms do have balconies on them as well. The room was very sizeable. Breakfast was available in the restaurant in the AM. You can also purchase some...
Great place to stay, really accomodating as we had a 17mth old, so we had a very large room which was nice. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb, cool little town and worth a visit. Make sure to drive around the head of the fjord to see the old fishing hut as well!
The restaurant is top notch! Really great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just absolutely great for fair prices. The restaurant is also nicely decorated. I would give the restaurant 5 stars only the hotel is just depressing. The rooms are okay for one night but I would not recommend to stay longer. It would lighten up the place if they added some plants, some comfy chairs to relax in and a nice carpet...
Getting to this little village is interesting knowing you have to come through a one-lane tunnel. But once you're there you immediately get the fisherman's vibe. Everything is about fishing here so do not be surprised if the air smells like it too (depending on the wind). Room was basic but nice the house had one common bathroom but you will know that as you reserved your room here. Restaurant was...
The room was cozy and clean, the cafe and restaurant really nice and with a great atmosphere. It was a bit loud and the breakfast was the smallest of the buffets we've had on our trip around Iceland, but it was fine.

Lovely place to stay. The host was most helpful and very friendly. Great breakfast to see us off.
I sailed from the UK and around Iceland, but damaged mast and pulled in, I was told this was the place to stay. It's awesome, gorgeous views, lovely rooms, super host and as for the breakfast it's like a 4 star hotel , and all at guesthouse prices. You won't get better.
We were very pleased with our stay here. Bed was comfy and room was clean. The shower had nice shampoo and conditioner and the decor was simple but pleasant. Parking was available on the street and in their own gravel parking lot next to the building. Breakfast was delicious with high quality meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, and other options. They also had an espresso machine yay :) the staff was extremely...
Very nice hostess. Be prepared to call their phone number to check in though as she is often next door. Overall nice room, the private bathroom rooms don't have a view while the bunk rooms and shared bathroom rooms do
Nice view, very clean and cosy, newly renovated in an modern Scandinavian but still traditional way. The landlady is very kind and helpful and serves a delicious breakfast with homemade ingredients. By far the best choice and best value for money in Patreksfjördur!!

We stopped at Hotel Reykjanes so we could take a soak in the hot pool. It does get very hot in certain areas so be careful if you are not used to the hot springs/pools. You MUST pay for entry for the pool at the front desk and then they will let you into the locker rooms. They are currently rebuilding their sauna. Afterwards, I did have a man walk into the locker room as I was about to get into the...
Isolated and perfect. We walked in, the gentleman asked what we needed to which we replied food. He promptly went back and cooked up fried cod, slaw and salad. The food was really delicious. He spoke with us for a bit, and we found out the place used to be a school where the staff lived on site. Pretty awesome and erie out here. We were the only ones there.
A little run down hotel, but decent and clean rooms. (Camping area behind the building.) Breakfast buffet included. Amazing hot pool with a view. Very helpful and friendly staff.

After a very difficult road and weather conditions we finally reached the hotel. Staff very friendly, cozy atmosphere and having the gas station and the restaurant there also a plus!! Breakfast was OK, bread very tasty!
This was one of the nicest places we stayed on our 11 day trip! The rooms (& bathroom!) were extra roomy, super clean, and beautiful! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We loved that we could visit a natural hot spring just down and off the road--definitely worth doing.
This was such a nice hotel! We got a newly renovated room and it was very spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. They have the BEST make your own waffles at breakfast. Thin and crispy and delicious! I’m still thinking about them!
We had one of the new doubles, amazing size and style. Was the largest room on our trip. Restaurant was good, value for money is at the lower limit but is a tribute to the location. Service is our only complaint. As standard guest you receive less Attention than the groups that arrive, that’s really sad.
One of the best places we stayed on our 12 day trip! We were in a newly remodeled room and it was so nice, especially the bathroom. We wished we had stayed longer to access the hot spring and nearby trails. Dinner and breakfast there were both delicious. We wish we could have stayed here longer!
Not a lot of accomodations in Westfjords. But this hotel was a pleasant family managed accommodation. We booked a New Standard double room. Restaurant included. Good because no other possibility to eat in near area. Don't miss the small canyon near the hotel ;-)

Lovely small hotel almost at the end of the world. Beautifully located right next to the waterfall. Nice and cozy interior with a lots of historical pictures, maps, figures ect. Staff very helpfull. This place was very special to visit. We started by our pretty late arrival having dinner...a lamb loins from the area. The hotel is great but the highlight is probably the tour of the old Herring Factory. Such a fascinating space with an extremely interesting history. A real gem

Rooms are a little on the small side, but it is everything you should expect from a hotel/BnB in Iceland. Has all the necessities with a great location in a quaint town. The one Restaurant in town closes for winter in early September, so you may find yourself driving...
We didn't have much expectations, but we think a soap in the bath is a must, as well as normal coffee in breakfast.
Thanks to a blizzard, we ended up spending an extra two nights here and we were glad it was in this lovely friendly hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful, even opening up the kitchen in the evening so we could prepare our own meals. Our room was beautiful, fully equipped so we could make our own tea and coffee, and had a great view of the ocean. We saw in other rooms too and they were also lovely...

Clean room, location was good. I requested for a double bed at time of booking and I got it. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. They do not have a fridge in the room, She helped to keep some of my food in the fridge in the restaurant for me. Wonderful views of the fjords.
clean and modern rooms, breakfast buffet was ok, waffles were a big plus. patreksfjördur is a bit out of the way i'd say but one can still get to some amazing spots within a 1 h car ride
Comfy rooms with nice size bathrooms.the breakfast was wonderful and they have a nice lounge area to relax.

Nice and clean. Very efficient with space. Comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff.
I wouldn’t stay here again. The owners were very nice but this was a bare bones place to stay. The bathroom was smallest I had ever seen. Small room and hard beds. Bare minimum for breakfast. For the price (compared to other accommodations all over iceland) it was not good enough. Great location in the heart of town. There aren’t a lot of options so perhaps they have a captive audience.
Did not stay at this hotel, but stopped in for supper. The fish stew and bread were so delicious!! And the woman working there was super friendly!
Very clean room and confortable beds. The breakfast was basic but good. Amazing restaurant just across the street.

The Hotel Flatey on Flatey Island, Iceland, is popular among tourists in summer.
Good lord I wish I could stay in this room for a year. The folks who run things are so kind and always helpful. And everything from the furnishings to the food to the way the hallway smells faintly of pine and candles (good candles) is just perfect. The beautifully functional simplicity of everything you touch has me in knots of childlike joy every time I turn the key or open the window. I could happily...
We loved our stay at Hotel Flatey! They will greet you at the ferry to collect your luggage and then you can take a 10 min walk across the island to the hotel. It’s in an extremely beautiful and serene location, if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet environment - be sure to stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the meals were all delicious. If you have the time to stop at Flatey...
A very long way from the car park to the hotel, but we did get valet ship parking. The valet dropped us off at the wharf 1km from the hotel and we walked the rest. Great hotel. Great place. Although directly on the road the road noise was literally nothing.
A unique hotel in a unique environment! I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time and loved every minute of it. 😊👍😊 When you arrive at the island with the ferry, hotel staff is there to transport any luggage you may have, which my friend and I did. Then we walked to the hotel that is situated in what used to be the towns central square (in the old times) and arrived just in time for dinner...
Pricey, as you'd expect in Iceland, but everything was fresh and delicious. A few revelatory flavors, as well!

Easy check-in. Clean hotel with nice facilities. Reasonable breakfast provided.
Clean, friendly, and comfortable room. Very interesting elevator which gives a great adventure experience 😂
Very good value for money, clean nice and comfy rooms (we had the Deluxe), great breakfast.
Deluxe Double Room had lots of space and great views. Rooms are clean. Each floor has a sitting area, which is great for extra space or hanging out with other travelers. Check in (and breakfast) is at Hotel Torg, a short walk away. The desk wasn't staffed when we were checking in, making this confusing, although it was around 9pm and that seems to be a time when things are shutting down.
Nice rooms, clean, updated. Parking lot is behind the hotel with only room for about 10-11 vehicles. Our 2nd floor common area is nice, and has a dinette table if you want to bring carry out food back, and a couch area to relax. The elevator is “interesting”.
