It claims and charges for 4 star hotel.. but facility like complementary breakfast in house restaurant, even basic toiletries are not provided ..
Location of the property is excellent..
But mis managed and miss used..

This property offers hazardous environment for its guest. We stayed in deluxe cottages near the garden and can tell you its not safe for guest. Can't ccomment on other rooms. Pros: location only. Cons: Mosquitos, broken proprety, path to beach is smelly and dirty. Refer pics

Going to be a long one ..Perfect example of sheer negligence of govt property .. location wise perfect right on beach at centre of all happenings, I will divide review in worst/ bad / better/ improvement areas .. —-Worse—- Room- stayed in cottages and suite . Cottage are worst choice to stay currently .. strong smelly room , old furniture , no pest control can see 5-6 lizard in balcony , rodents doing round, no fogging for mosquito.. staff asked me buy a 5 litre bottle worth 100rs as soon as I checked in my room ..they provided RO water later on with 2 mineral water bottle . however on request in night due to unbearable stink in room receptionists was helpful and showed us 3 different cottage on complaining but all 3 very even more stinking .. ground floor cottages don’t have ceiling fan .. only standing fans ..horrible. Leaky corridor roofs , green moss everywhere , no security ,no maintenance , provide open teabags .. Garden portion of property which was very lovely and was maintained earlier is now covered by different restaurant from beach side .. No rules for use of swimming pool .. no dress code , no timings implemented , No first aid available .. —-Bad part—- Coming to restaurants ONE Calangute where GTDC serves very very very basic breakfast everyday it has lots of chances to improve , no fruits , no option in cornflakes/ breads , no bakery items, no choices … fixed menu ..toast bread / egg item , dosa every day at live counter , idli or poha.. location is good , staff new helpful ,music is more like a noise pollution during evenings.. live music was also not up to mark .. better to have lunch and dinner outside where you can have great taste at reasonable price .. Staff at property reception are more indifferent.... I enquired them about safety of my rented bike in premises , to which I was told no security stays in night … WHAT REALLY!!.. . this property used to be gem of it kind when I visited in 2016..but now falling in shambles .. cottage part especially . —-Better and best part — stay in suit was best part perfect beach facing .newly built .. clean and maintained .. furniture is better ...but plan accordingly as it has no lift till now ..and evening till 10 pm much of noise pollution .. —Improvement areas —- Early there used to be GTDC taxis available inside premises with reasonable rates for local tours and dropping to airport .. which got discontinued ..and now guest are left at mercy of taxis outside hotel .. which charge as per their will and way .. Also now reception staff has no trusted vendor reference for rental bikes and cars .. they ask you take from anyone outside their premises .. but pls be careful while renting bikes with outside vendors …they can really spoil your holiday at the time of bike return for no fault of yours.. Cottage rooms can be well prepared in advance for guest bookings , pest control and fogging should be prioritised in cottages, security should be present 24 hrs in property .. Room tip -

Not satisfactory: Not a good option. Surrounding is dirty with debris thrown around. No direct access to beach, except alongside a stinky public toilet. Restaurant is too expensive. No privacy with beachside hotel workers roaming in front of rooms. Positive: Room is good. Toilet is clean.
