The family-managed Hotel Sydney is located on the seafront in San Benedetto del Tronto, along the Riviera delle Palme. Wi-Fi and parking are free. You will have a parasol, a deck chair and a sun bed on the private beach.
All rooms are furnished in a modern style and feature a sea-view balcony. Each room is en suite, and comes with air conditioning and a flat-screen satellite TV.
The Sydney's restaurant is open to the public and specializes in local cuisine, with meat and seafood menus and children options. Meals include mineral water. A continental buffet including eggs and bacon is served daily.
There are tables and chairs in the garden with playground, and a second playground is available on the beach. The staff provides day and night entertainment, and free bike rentals are available at the 24-hour reception, where you can also book tours.

This was a very special hotel for my wife and I. We travelled to Europe from Australia and spent two nights in San Benedetto del Tronto. The hotel was wonderful, beautiful, spacious rooms and amazing views out to the Adriatic Sea. Hotel owners David and Deborah Portale along with their amazing staff made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The food at this hotel was excellent, with a focus on fresh, local delicacies and full board available. The hotel has an easy 3 minute walk to the beach and has a relationship with one of the Beach Clubs which allows for a truly relaxing day by the water. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Hotel found by chance on the internet months before, we booked for 10 days in August, in three with an 11 year old girl.
The location of the hotel is excellent, we never used the car, we moved either on foot or using the bikes made available by the hotel, facing the sea, very comfortable. The room was a bit small, three of us in the same room were struggling to move, the cleaning of the room can be improved, perhaps by using the vacuum cleaner better, even under the beds. The balcony was never cleaned. It was always dirty with sand. The establishment they have an agreement with is nice. But the really sore point was the kitchen, which had to be completely overhauled. We who have been there 10 days have seen the same dishes turn over and over again, very basic, the appetizers always the same, baked potatoes, grilled aubergines, baked tomatoes. The last few days of our vacation we preferred to eat out for a bit of variation. The breakfast then, the brioches were the frozen ones heated in the oven and now that you ate them they were dry, the fruit juices seemed watered, the donuts were dry. In short, I recommend it only for the overnight stay but not for the kitchen just nooooo.

I wanted to thank the owners inanzittutto for the perfect place to stay in the past in the week, the months of June and July 2014;we have together with my wife and my 2 kids 6 and 2 years old spent a week of relaxation and we found the hotel suited our needs ,was very friendly and helpful in every moment, especially with the children at the table .excellent the possibility to the children to get in the restaurant 30 minutes before the official time,the best choice to have the availability of the free use of bicycles with child seat for the little ones ,the location is excellent, across the road and on the beach,a bit far from the centre of San Benedetto, but with the bikes at our disposal in 5 minutes to arrive.Our room being in the 4 was a bit small, although equipped with a great balcony, the restaurant served good food very diverse and good in abundance,passed on for the encore, always brave and professional staff to our service in the dining room, a special praise to Ilaria and Beatrice.Of course, in the framework of the week there can be some small underlining, but definitely a few worthy of note,on the other hand if you go on vacation you must think of to relax but everyone has their habits, and then if there are noises or in the dining room or maybe when you rest or at night and' natural that, being in so many you can and you have to think that's part of the game.I would also of course say that, and I think I know the owners, you can always improve.I would like to conclude wishing you a good stay at all and if I can give my opinion, advice this hotel to families, or otherwise couples with children hello to all

Excellent hotel ! deserves 4 stars for the new facility and the excellent cuisine in addition to the sympathy and availability' of managers. I stayed in July for a week-end in san benedetto with my wife, the girl of 4 years and a baby of 2 months, I have to say that if you are in the company of children, here is really everything.
Have a great baby club, and in the restaurant the kids can eat at a time in advance so then they can go back to play with the entertainers. We have permission with my wife, besides, to take a little bit of free time and eat more quietly, and alone. Every so often we want to...

Located opposite the beach with private parking. Reception staff very helpful and spoke good English. Room was okay. No tea making facilities, no fire evacuations details, no information on the hotel in the room. No menu available regarding dinner. Did not cater for tourists from other countries, everything in Italian. Ok for overnight stay but no longer.
