The hotel was along the main road, and so it was easy to find. It's about a ten-minute walk from the town center. We were quite lucky that there was a spot in the hotel parking area. The hotel staff were quite helpful and accommodating.

The place is easy to find and provides parking as well as reasonable accomodation (talking about family room here which was ok, but not great). There is nothing wrong with the place, but also nothing great. :)

It's an amazing, magical, wonderful and pretty luxurious place, seems that comes out from a fairy tale. Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and parking was abundant. We had a little walk along the promenade access via a gate at the bottom of the grounds, the cliff top view was incredible. Beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning position on the Ligurian Riviera and well positioned between Genoa City and the lovely towns of Portofino and Santa Margarita. Quiet, refined and tastefully decorated. And the staff are wonderful! Very helpful as well as warm and friendly.

A place that is hard to get to, there are winding roads here. The whole house in the old style with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and additional room. Great view of the area and a nice place to stop on the way. All houses built on different levels, to which you have to enter countless steps. The charm of bygone times and the atmosphere of a romantic novel.

The house is very welcoming and very clean. The owner is very nice and helpful. In addition, various food products are available to customers for breakfast.

Very comfortable it has everything you need to cook, and be comfortable. Beautiful garden and view. If you go on foot, it was very difficult for us to coincide with the bus, so you have to climb more than 300 steps, I don't know how many streets ufff you have to be in very good physical condition. Very pretty house with a garden overlooking the sea in Pieve Alta. Very quiet place where you find peace and silence and you can enjoy the view of the sea from the moment you wake up. Very nice and kind mistress. There have already come twice and definitely come back.

This is a small, family run hotel. Everyone who works there is very kind and helpful, and many speak English. It is clean, quiet, and convenient to the train and Parco Nervi. There is breakfast and it is possible to book lunch and dinner. They introduced me to strawberry risotto one lunch - it is delicious. If you come in summer bring insect repellent; Nervi has mosquitos.

Location is good, just a short distance from E80. We parked our car and used the local bus to go into town which was not only cost-effective but a big help with not having to drive in maze. You can park on the street for free or it’s $16/day. Fredericka was very helpful at check in & Alessandro assisted with points of interest which we enjoyed. The breakfast is very nice, thanks for a great stay.

Overall a pretty good stay. Parking at the hotel is €40 per day which seemed expensive compared to other hotels in Italy. Location is outside of the city center, which is a pro and con. Fewer restaurants but also fewer crowds. Has access to nice beaches.

Location of hotel was good from the perspective of access from major highways. Was a bit of a walk to get to the beach or "city center". As a Platinum Bonvoy member, I was surprised that AC does not offer free breakfast. Breakfast cost was 16 Euros and they provided a $10 voucher for food. I'm finding a pretty significant disparity (no free breakfast) between the AC brands and all other Marriott...

Loving it here, we have a room with a large balcony with stunning views of the town and the sea, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the room is a little basic, but comfortable and the breakfast really is amazing! The hotel staff were friendly and could speak good English. The location of the hotel is perfect, near the beach and near the city. Beautiful surroundings, the breakfast was perfect, a lot of choice. The rooms were clean. I recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to spend time in good atmosphere and surroundings as well as have good service.

Very near to the highway, the rooms are ok. By car you have like 30 minutes to Portofino.

Lovely hotel just off the autostrada... A bit dated but very quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The fitness center is not really much...but they do have some free weights.

Really nice place to stay, the view is amazing. The house has a pool outside with view. The apartament was really beautiful and clean. The breakfast is very good, homemade cakes, foccacia, etc. The only con is, the house is in the mountain, and the only way you can get there is by car or by taxi (20 euros), any bus is going up there, or you can walk up and down stairs for 10 minutes to the downtown...

My wife and I were here in June 2017 and were completely blown away. Exceeded our expectations, the room, view service and the food served at the Casa Balin. The owner of Casa Balin and his mom were wonderful! Looking forward to our stay in June 2018 especially now that the pool is done.

One of the most incredible places I have ever stayed at. The views are magnificient! The place clean, renovated and beautifully finished. Valter the owner is friendly, warm hearted and funny. I can't recommend Casa Balin enough. I would stay here again.

Super nice stay! It's 5mins drive uphill from the Recco town and the reward is a B&B made with care to the detail. Magnificent sea view, quality material interior and most important genuine friendly people. They also make some homemade cake for the breakfast. Loved it!

Two nights in mid-August. Very nice and clean room, great breakfast. Great location to stay quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but convenient to everything. Beautiful swimming pool and hospitable owners. A bit difficult access, you need to know how to drive :)

Quiet little place clean rooms accessories (swimming pool wifi garden etc) all included .... For those who love tranquility and nature it is perfect. We will be back
