Breakfast was excellent, homemade pastries and jams, fresh juice, coffee and more. Very clean and Mario the owner could not have been more hospitable. Would highly recommend.

It's a hotel where i work,and the staff are the best mates I've ever worked with. The directress of the hotel has a big heart. The hotel is very neat and well organised. The menus we have are really the best that a hotel can have and the most Amazing thing is the price you will pay for a night will jist be unbelievable!

We stayed here as part of a group tour. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were great! I really,loved that fresh water was available in the water tap so it was easy to fill out water bottles whenever we wanted. Not a lot of choices in Castel di Sangro, but this was a place to enjoy - and recommend. The hotel was located at the top of the town with a lot of history, comfortable rooms, parking and a great view of the valley and mountains. Walking distance to the town centre. The reviews are correct, this is an excellent place to stay. The genuine welcome, information on the town and where to eat most helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast … I wish I could have eaten my way through all of the lovely cakes on offer! The fresh juices and homemade jams delicious . The people though are what makes the place somewhere you don’t want to leave.

My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. Fabulous quiet hotel on the edge of the town centre… Excellent helpful friendly staff… Lovely continental breakfast and even fabulous homemade smoothies to start your day… It was only a five minute walk away from the bustling town center…

Very nice place to stay, the accommodation was very comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast is very rich, and you can choose between a mediterranean Breakfast or a salty English-style breakfast. The food quality is very high. Absolutely recommended!

Our stay at the Sport Hotel Village was exceptionally comfortable. Everyone was incredibly helpful, greeting us with a warm smile and offering assistance with genuine kindness. I've never experienced anything like it in my life; they even allowed us to stay until 4 PM. My family and I have decided that this wonderful hotel will always be our destination because there's simply no better option.

The facility was beautiful. Service excellent. Breakfast was a full buffet, lots to choose from and great service. Swimming pool was cold, but the weather was hot so it felt delicious. Room was superb and bathroom was perfect. Loved our stay
