This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL , historic and spotless place to stay in Castel Del Sangro.... and all of Italy for that matter. Its literally out of this world !!..... An experience of a lifetime ! The two brothers and their father carefully re-incarnated / renovated an actual wash house that is still fed by mountain water , nestled right next to a 400 year old church. The church bells were music to our ears every morning and brought us back to an earlier time. The two brothers were very accomodating and hospitable , explaining the re-construction and passion that their father had in re-creating this gem in its natural form. The beauty of the panoramic view , the experience of re-living what life was like, the cleanliness of the accomodations and the exquisite breakfast and hospitality made us 100% decide to return once again ( from Ontario,Canada). Thank you for the amazing experience. Arrividerci !!

We stayed here as part of a group tour. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were great! I really,loved that fresh water was available in the water tap so it was easy to fill out water bottles whenever we wanted. To get down to the main square there are some steps and paths but it is obviously harder coming back but as long as you have a reasonable level of fitness it’s OK. Breakfast was good and the staff welcoming and helpful.

Not a lot of choices in Castel di Sangro, but this was a place to enjoy - and recommend. The hotel was located at the top of the town with a lot of history, comfortable rooms, parking and a great view of the valley and mountains. Walking distance to the town centre. Although the reception had limited opening hours we got maps and a lot of useful advice about where to go for sightseeing and great meals. The breakfast was good and the lady responsible was really helpful, too.

Huge spacious and beautiful room with roof terrace, great à la carte breakfast (which deserves a real thumbs-up, it's one of the best I ever had - and that includes places outside of Italy - served by very friendly and helpful staff. My motorbike was shown to a box seat right next to the entrance, and couldn't have been any safer. The hotel already points out that the church bell rings every 15 minutes right next door. It didn't bother me and the soundproofing is very effective, but for people who sleep very lightly it could certainly become a problem. Personally, I'm used to this, so I wouldn't mind and it wouldn't wake me. But I thought I should mention it.

Loved this place. Combined modern amenities with the history of being an old laundromat. Very accommodating with directions amenities and service. Delightful pastries for breakfast and a water dispenser for filling your bottle. It is at the top of the hill. Easy steps down to the center of town. It was difficult to find it at first as it is tucked in amidst the houses. The church bells are beautiful. We did not hear them through the night with ear plugs and windows closed

Second time visiting here after 11 years. Still as great as it was back then !! Love it Very clean and rooms are a good size . Very close to the main square where you can find a variety of restaurants etc. Breakfast is very good as well and staff are extremely nice Well worth a visit !!

If you are looking for ski in ski out, lively apres ski (if there for skiing in nearby rocarasso) or partying all night this ain't for you. If you want a super friendly bunch of owners who go out of their way to assist you. Authentic local food in a lovely typical small italian town where everyone is friendly then this place is spot on. We love it. Been back 2 years on the bounce and will continue to return.
