The Hotel was just great location the room and the best part was Super Mario host who exceeded our expectations from making sure we had everything in our room to helping with directions to suggesting dining options, he was just Great! I would definitely stay there again. We have driven most of Italy and staying at I’ll Tiglio Hotel was one of our most special memories. We will miss having our breakfast with Mario

Castello di Sangro is a lovely town, well worth the visit. This hotel seems to be well maintained and centrally located, however it is situated on a busy street and a reasonably long walk from the proper downtown. Hotel Il Tiglio took my money (via *******) for a room, but did not provide me a room to sleep in. Strangely and unusual: this hotel has a very narrow window for check in: 1500 to 2000. I was delayed on the highway and was unable to arrive before 8pm. The hotel refused to make any alternate arrangements for my check in. I finally arrived just under an hour after the 8 pm deadline and found the doors locked. I was able to find a room at another very nice hotel, which I highly recommend: Ristorante Bar Albergo Corradetti; Via Riviera, 1, 67031 Castel di Sangro AQ

Breakfast was excellent, homemade pastries and jams, fresh juice, coffee and more. Very clean and Mario the owner could not have been more hospitable. Would highly recommend.

Great variety and service especially during Covid, they are taking sanitation seriously as good as I have seen anywhere

Mario was a wonderful host. He was very attentive and kind. The hotel was charming. I would highly recommend it. The town of Castel di Sangro is beautiful!!!!He recommended a fabulous restaurant right across the street. The food was amazing!!

Had a wonderful stay at Il Tiglio. We traveled to Castel di Sangro to see the place where my Grandmother was from. Mario was so helpful in helping us find her street in the old part of town. He also made excellent recommendations to restaurants in the area. The breakfast was delicious with everything homemade. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Castel di Sangro in the future.
