We stayed at Hotel Riviera & Maximilian’s as a family and enjoyed the seaside location and relaxed atmosphere. The setting felt calm and suitable for spending time together, with easy access to the water and pleasant views. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience felt well organized and unhurried. A nice option for families looking for a peaceful stay near the coast.

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in town. Super smooth pleasant check in with loads of free parking. I only ate at breakfast which was ok. It’s pretty remote so transport is needed unless you plan to stay at the hotel all day. Really good room and service all round.

We went for dinner and we definitely recommend the place for the food during the evening. Good ingredients and really tasty. Staff was very friendly and the view is very nice.

A simple and charming small family-run hotel in a quiet location with a sea view. The quality accommodation is next to a first-class cultural heritage monument and close to excellent and frequent public transport connections to the center of Trieste.

Charming for a 1-Star Hotel! But a bit pricey for what you get... Leave out the breakfast, go for a brioche in the city instead!

Breakfast quite good. Room temperature was the biggest problem: temperature could not be controlled and it was far too hot (28.5° C). Receptionist said they could not change it, but we could open the door to outside to cool off. Fortunately, it was cool outside, and the room temperature did come down with an open door for the outside, but one should not have to do that! Dinner in the Hotels restaurant...

Love this hotel! The stay was fantastic! The view was amazing! The spa service was so personal and private! Quiet hotel with restaurant that makes it convenient. Loved it!

The hotel is on the seafront, the staff is super, the parking is in order, the breakfasts are good, the rooms are comfortable but "tired".

I only stayed at the Horel Miramare for 1 night during a trip with my husband. It is located in a convenient location a few minutes walk from the Castle, the staff is very friendly and kind, the view from the room on the sea is truly breathtaking, but the Hotel is certainly to be considered more 3 stars and not 4 for everything from breakfast to bathroom, the shower with the uncomfortable fabric...
