we spoke with the management, but given the fact we are very close to the arrival date and such reservation goes across New Year's Eve, we cannot take any modification.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel the reservation or issue a voucher. We were notified too late, and as a result we did not have the opportunity to resell the rooms. This has unfortunately led to a loss of income for us, which prevents us from accommodating your request.

We thank you for your understanding and truly regret any inconvenience this may cause.

We also wish you a Happy New Year.

So now we would like to know where is the problem?

First of all we paid the full price of the rooms well in advance. Total: 622€. This money is now lost on our side-not on your side because you get to keep the money without delivering any services while the rooms remain untouched. Secondly you have lectured us that a re-sale is not possible because we cancelled to late. You could have easly rescheduled our rooms for March 5-8 and put it back on the market.

It seems you have lost us as your hotel guests. The rooms are expensive enough to expect excellent service. I cannot fathom that we in fact got lectured like school kids because you couldn't earn twice. This service was unprofessionell to say the least and we hope you will be able to change that to a friendly and understanding service because we always go where we are treated best. Did not work out this time.
