It was so warm at night, and the floor and bathroom were dirty. Floor was very sticky. I couldn’t sleep during my stay because I couldn’t open the window, the remote’s battery seemed to be dead. But somehow, it worked again the next morning, and I was finally able to open the window. So annoying,..😵‍💫

Large room with a large bathroom (small shower) in an apartment divided into rooms.
Very clean.
Bed equipped with a foam mattress. Not firm enough for my taste.
2 minutes from the train station.
No real breakfast, but packaged biscuits, tea, a coffee machine, and a limited selection of yogurts.
Located in a bourgeois building that has been used but is very quiet. The building door doesn't close properly.

Before arriving at this hotel, there are several important things you should know :

- You need a 4-digit access code to enter the apartment.
If you booked your stay through an administrative service, make sure they provide you with this code.
This code will allow you to access the apartment and retrieve the keys you’ll need for your stay, including keys for the bathroom, your room, the block room, and the apartment room.

- There are always cakes and sweets available in the kitchen, and even a coffee machine in the house hallway, which is a very nice touch.

- Getting hot water in the shower can be tricky.
Imagine the faucet as a clock: you need to turn it to around 8 o'clock, with very low water pressure, to get hot water.

- The Internet connection is very slow.
I had difficulty even watching YouTube videos properly.

Overall, my stay in Trieste went very well.
It’s a quiet and discreet city with stunning architectural structures.
I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy all the beautiful places the city has to offer.

I stayed at this charming B&B in Trieste and had an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, just steps from the city center and the main attractions. The room was cozy, clean, and well-appointed, with a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly, ready to offer advice on what to see in the city. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, well-located place with impeccable service. An experience worth repeating!

A fantastic hostel close to all the city's attractions, as well as being just steps from the bus and train stations. Breakfast is self-service with a coffee machine and a wide variety of pastries. I'm only taking away one star because the street entrance and the access stairs are in desperate need of a facelift. Oh, and the owner, Stefano, is a real charmer!

Old building and stairs. But owner meet me there and opened all the doors and explained the locks. Recommend a great restaurant FORST. 5 minutes away. Snacks and pastry (factory made) available free all the time. Nice but not lux. It worked well for me. I would stay there again.

The accomodation is in a pretty nice and neighbourhood. The room very clean and got everything we needed. We didnt mind the selfservice checkin and out an selfservice breakfast. Be aware that there is not a lot of parking space however we could at the trainstation about 5 minutes walking for only €14,per day. We would visit this Bed&Breakfast again in the future.

DOG FRIENDLY! It was a nice little Room, pretty dark though there was no real daylight. As the community area („kitchen") is right in front of the door it's loud in the morning and you can't sleep longer than 6/7 a.m.
The kitchen is just for taking the packed breakfast (snacks like chocolate croissants and cookies) and sadly not for cooking.
It's in the 2nd floor, which I didn't know so l first did not find the door.
As it was the most expensive accommodation during my road trip I expected a little more.
Didn't match the price-quality value but is no bad accommodation.
The host is very nice and helpful though.
And no free parking near as it said on AirBnB. 14€/day at the trainstation parking lot and it‘s pretty narrow.

This stay was a happy accident. We thought we were booking B & B Trieste (one block away) and booked B & B Trieste Plus.

Pros:
Clean, quiet and safe
Comfortable bed
Convenient-One block away from the Trieste Centrale train station
Stayed 3 nights - took a fun day trip to Venice by train
Walked all around Trieste , several parks and a medieval castle
Grocery across from train station (but we actually preferred the ALDI store - a little further but better selection and prices)
Enjoyed a Chicken Wrap at the Turkish cafe next to Piazza Della Liberta
Look towards the water for fancier food choices.
Included small but sufficient variety of breakfast foods & 24 hour coffee & hot cocoa machine in hall.
Given 3 keys- front door to the building, hotel door and room door.
Great communication- quick to reply through ******* and gave us the direct phone number too (but we just used the ******* app).

Cons:
Fan not air conditioning- it was hot every day (mid 80s) and we were fine with the window open and the fan going.

Bottom line:
Don’t be thrown off by the old entrance and dark staircase (light switch on wall). Yes, the building is very old but with character and they share it with apartments and businesses. We were concerned when we first arrived but once you get to the inside door, you just feel welcomed to your European adventure. Convenient part of town if walking or taking train or bus.

If you are looking for the typical, uniform type hotel experience, look elsewhere.
