The hotel was a very nice experience overall. The property is quaint and unique. Great views. I opted for the breakfast and dinner option which was highly recommended. Dinner was a 4 course tasty meal with a very good deal. Breakfast could use more varieties.

The owners are lovely and the location is so close to Bolsena it's a stones throw. The owners were very kind and actually I will miss Bolsena and this place.

It was great experience with this property. Coming quite late it was difficult to find. As we arrived we were offered dinner for reasonable price and since we did not feel going back to town we accepted. A stay in this structure, surrounded by the most luxuriant nature and with a unique view of Lake Bolsena, represents a cure for the soul and also for the body. In fact, silence and stillness guarantee restorative sleeps and good traditional cuisine satisfies the palate. Very kind owners and staff. RECOMMENDED!

Well-kept structure, surrounded by greenery with a beautiful swimming pool. Meals are served outside in a truly comfortable setting. Good food and friendly staff. Cleaning of the rooms is better taken care of. However pleasant stay, a really relaxing weekend, recommended !!!

We had a fantastic stay at Casale 1541 and spent three wonderful days there. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Bolsena and the surrounding area. Gian Marco was incredibly helpful and welcoming, giving us great tips on what to visit nearby and helping us discover some amazing places. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

The family running this ancient converted old mill house are very warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. The house was bombed out during the war and they bought and renovated the property. The high wood beam ceilings, thick stone walls, with a small underground cellar, is so very cosy and pleasant to stay in. We stayed here for one night. The room was small, and the shower cabin had limited space. There was a damp smell in the room, probably due to the building being old. A reasonable good hotel in a small town, but the drain system in the shower is terrible as you are standing in water taking the shower.

It is the most beautiful castle with well appointed rooms with sitting rooms right outside your room. Very atmospheric. The town is on your door step and the best food we have eaten in a month of travelling Italy. The trattoria da picchietto. Love love love it

This hotel is in a good location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the lake. The area felt safe and quiet at night. The hotel itself is a gem…. Full of historical charm. The staff was welcoming. Also there is parking a few minutes away. Would gladly return.

Laura was the perfect host. The rooms are enormous and the house is a true mansion. We couldn't believe how spacious it was, with so many little details that made gave us a sense of wonder. They also have a lovely wine store inside with quite a few excellent selections that we as wine lovers were previously unaware. We are already planning to return.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are roomy and as nicely decorated as the rest of the villa, which you are free to walk through. I would love to come back here again.

It's a small hotel. We had a lake-facing room with a large terrace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was just a shame that the restaurant was mostly closed.

Beautiful and spacious room with a large balcony. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The restaurant service was excellent, with attentive and prompt service at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The separation between the rooms and the restaurant on the S.S. Cassia road requires special attention due to the pedestrian crossing, which lacks zebra crossings and signage.

This hotel is lovely in general. But needs improvement. Ita biggest advantage is that it has a private beach. A few steps from your room and you're by the lake. The hotel is very clean, but quite old fashioned. The shower room is big, but in itself is very small and not comfortable for a shower after a lake dip. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay here in late September. Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to the lake and is nearby a few coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful; they were able to find us a round trip taxi to visit a nearby town. Our stay was just amazing! We took a room with sauna and jacuzzi and could enjoy our little private spa. We went with our 5 monts old baby so it was so comfortable as the sauna is just there and when in need I could just go to my baby without bothering others (as it would be in public spa). The location is just the best possible. The pool area is beautiful but it is only about 20 metres from the hotel front gate to the beach. Lake Bolsena is just amazing to swim. Rooms are quiet and clean and quite big. The breakfast is really modest.

Hotel is super well situated. It's unique, rooms are large, very clean and comfortabel. The staff was super friendly and helped us move all the cots up the stairs.
