We had quite an enjoyable three-night stay at the Grand Hotel Palace. The room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff we met were wonderfully helpful and polite.
The included breakfast was a real plus, served by very courteous waitresses.
Our only gripe would be the noise level one night, with some guests being rather boisterous and extremely loud in the corridors late at midnight. A bit of a shame, but it doesn't overshadow what was otherwise a thoroughly commendable stay. Would happily return.

A fine choice of hotel. The room was clean and comfy. A good selection at breakfast including omelette cooked to order if that’s what you like. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Everything was great! Room with a beautiful view. Delicious breakfast. I liked that there was a gym. The hotel staff is pleasant and hospitable. I will definitely come back here in the future!

Ist was all top. This Hotel can only get more excellent in very small details like a superior bed or more space to hang towels in the bathroom.

Great location although lack of other restaurants in immediate area. Hotel restaurant is excellent but limited. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful older hotel with spacious rooms and excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent also. I look forward to returning!

Wonderful hotel overlooking the port area of the city. Excellent service, very nice staff. Great comfortable rooms. This hotel gives a nice feeling of old world charm but is right up to date. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good indeed. A good breakfast with plenty of choice. Car parking is available at an extra cost but parked in their secure parking. Would definitely recommend.

Please ignore my earlier review - We gave them a low rating because of an issue with the temp of our room. I suggested they were not being responsive. In fact, the communications breakdown was my mistake, not theirs. They bent over backwards to fix the minor issue and were 100% responsive. I would stay here again in a second - great, stately hotel with a wonderful staff!
