A three-star hotel is probably a far-fetched opinion. Compared to other hotels, three stars in Fortuna are a big stretch. You definitely have to thank and praise the nice service and the tasty breakfast (sweet and savory) but without hot dishes. On the other hand, the minuses that influenced my rating are cracked walls, holes in the walls, dirty doors and windows, visible mold behind the shower door...

Very handy hotel this, just opposite Ancona station, with an excellent breakfast to get the day off to a good start.

Stayed here one night after arriving on Ferry from Greece in order to catch train next day. It was basically OK for the money but don’t expect much. The door to the room seemed like it was hollow-core and could have easily been breached. Breakfast buffet was very basic but acceptable. Staff was friendly enough. And room/bathroom were clean.

I wanted to rest after a long work. The hotel employee at the reception picked up a nice quiet room for me so that I could get some sleep. The breakfast was wonderful and all the other employees are also very polite and kind. Thank you! I haven't checked the wifi, but the mobile Internet is great in the hotel (150-200Mb/s) - maybe it will be useful for someone to know.

The hotel is placed on a hill with a beautiful view. Didn’t like the smell in the room. The furniture is very very old and smells badly. They should have change it, given the fact that the prices are not very low. The lobby looks nice, like any old hotel in Europe, and the breakfast is ok.

The experience of staying in this magnificent hotel has been wonderful and specially for the service. The staff is very professional and my greatest and most formidable time has been dinning at their restaurant, The Groove; the service was espectacular and the food was out of this world! was three times in the ego hotel in the past tree years. every time it was a bit more disappointing as the rooms by now need to be overhauled. chairs with damages, flush in toilet hardly working and staints on carpets in the corridors. will change my hotel next time, mainly also becsuse its way outside of the city center and you always nees a taxi to get there.

We had a lovely stay at the Seabay hotel. It is surrounded by greenery, hills and birds’ song, close to the ocean (5 minutes walk), where you find pebble beaches and some restaurants. Thanks for the upgrade, the suite was lovely. The dinner was excellent, and great advices from the Sommelier for the wines. Very nice staff. We also enjoyed the SPA and having it on our own. We were charmed: a wonderful location, excellent staff, lovely dining experiences, and a clean and comfortable room. We were there to go birding in the park, and our walk about took us past lakes and seaside. The entire area is green and tranquil. We would not hesitate to return even though the birding was not as good as hoped for. But everything else was better.

Be careful of the hidden charges: they tell you they would "give you" late checkout but they don't tell you they will charge you 100 EUR for it, they tell you they will upgrade you for free and then they don't. They charge 2 coffees 10 EUR. They try to extract money from you in every possible way so whenever they propose something, always ask if there are extra costs. On top, they do not seem to...

We were able to park outside the property which was free from 8pm-8am and the cost per hour was 1.20. The room was clean and modern, although slightly small but this did not matter as it was only a one night stay. Check in and out was easy. The breakfast was nice. The location was ideal as it was a five minute walk to the centre.

The location and views from the hotel were spectacular. Nestled in a park, it provided a peaceful and relaxing respite during our journey north from Puglia. The breakfast buffet provided many options and the dinners (in particular, the seafood risotto and gnocchi) at the restaurant were delicious. Staff were accommodating and friendly. It was a gem of a find.

A rare find, in the middle of the forest, with a breathtaking view of the sea, a quality hotel with a restaurant that is really worth it! I am really surprised by the hotel, as I have not expected facility sooo good! Staff was extremely friendly, rooms tidy and clean which is not an obvius thing in Italy, but especially the sauna was worth it! Hope to visit this place again, not necessarily for work this time.

The complementary breakfast was quite good/above average for a European style breakfast. The coffee was excellent and barista made. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was very roomy. We found that the hot water was not hot and almost non-existent. The staff however were excellent and tried very hard to make us feel welcome.

Very nice room for a brief stopover in Ancona. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. No kettle or fridge was a bit annoying. Very beautiful property. The only problem was I had booked a junior suit and in the description I was told we have a separate bedroom and living room, however, we were given a bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed with no separate space. I had to pay and upgrade for a better room since the space was not appropriate for us.

Ancona is an amazing place to see. The Fort is very interesting and a recommended visit or stay. The bar service and ambiance were great. My negative experience is the quality of the restaurant food. I would suggest a visit and stay but eat somewhere else.

Superb staff with efficient checkin. Very helpful and patient with explaining on where/what to see. We stayed in two single rooms in the back of the building to avoid the road noise. Room is clean, single bed is about 120cm in width which was super, breakfast is so-so. For an overnight stay to travel further from station or to pick up car-rental, this would be a good hotel to stay. Direct busses going...

A warmish welcome to this well located hotel right opposite train station. Sadly though, the train station attracts a certain group of people who are just hanging around. These folk are a little too close to the hotel and nearby restaurants and businesses. A good room with a good bathroom. Good aircon as well as an opening window. Fair quality price ratio. The hotel must have been recently renovated, everything is new and clean. 5+ for the staff, they accomodated us much earlier than our check in hour. For our needs, ferry port and train station, the location was perfect.

Great location next to the bus station, and an easy breezy walk into the central town. Great restaurant next door. Quaint little town, great for sightseeing, and lots to do once you get to walking. I had an amazing stay, would highly recommend Ankon hotel, the gentleman at the desk was very lovely and helpful and made sure I was prepared for my early flight. I had a beautiful single room with a huge bed and would definitely come back to Ankon hotel.

Very hard to find, got lost and then lost again, so maybe take a taxi from the train station. People were very nice and helpful, they spoke decent enough English to recommend a great restaurant, Rosa Ristorante, and assist us with our cruise directions. The hotel is a highlight in a slightly bleak area. Although the service and staff were excellent and the room pricing very affordable. Not much to do in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The room at A3 Passi was wonderful - comfortable with every thing you could want or need. The restaurant was also fabulous but keep an eye on the directions as there is complicated junction just outside Ancon

Did only stay shortly there coming from the ferry late night. Clean big room, friendly personal. And the setup in the olive groove is a nice thing; it was just olive harvesting season. Only disadvantage: the way coming up from Ancona harbor is a hard to find as the roads there are quite confusing and my navigation system was no really big help. But this is not the fault of the hotel.

Wonderful agriturismo with very stylish rooms and a fabulous restaurant. You can buy various things from their lovely shop, including their divine olive oil.

Awesome and comfortable place for a fair price, including a fantastic restaurant. Only negative is the distinct absence of any language but italian. One guy speaks some English, which is enough to at least get the check in working.
