Ave Maria! They have a beautiful chapel but no hot water came out of the faucet. The chapel was worth it.

I had a room on the third floor with a view of the valley. If I hadn’t had that, this hotel would not have gotten three stars. Basic is an understatement but the price was low and it’s next to the small centro storico and the basilica so I’m still glad I stayed there. The people who worked in the reception were kind as well.

We were visiting the Padre Pio Church, and it was very convenient to walk to the church. Good location and a beautiful sunrise from my balcony at the hotel.

This is a very basic and slightly run down hotel but it’s also very cheap so if you don’t have too many expectations you can stay here for a night or two.
It’s also extremely close to centro storico and the basilica which might be the best reason to choose it.

This is a very old hotel located right in the middle of the city. Everything in it is very old. TV: 15 Inch with just a couple channels. Bed: It varies throughout the rooms. Ours had a king size and a twin bed. Mattress was a little hard. Bathroom: Small walk in shower. Toilet was tightly cramped with a bodet. Sink with small mirror and tiny light. Soap, shampoo, and shower caps; no hair dryer. They did not have A/C but you're in the cool mountains so we opened the window and had to close it before going to bed, got too cold. We found only one electrical plug by bed and one in bathroom. Breakfast: Breads, cereal, fruit, cakes, coffee and juice.

The location is good
I read some of the bad reviews that said this place was run down but I didn’t think it was that bad. It was 5 minutes from the Basilica and the location was great. The breakfast was good. There was no air conditioning but a fan was enough because it got a bit cooler. The only thing negative is that the bathroom is tiny. A plus sized person would not be able to sit on the toilet without hitting the sink . The hot water for the shower was not hot but warm. It was warm enough for a hot day. The Wi-Fi in the room did not work so I had to come to the lobby to use the Wi-Fi.

Room 405 the worst room ever please dont ever stay here its so hot feels like burning hell please stay away from this room you cant open windows because there is a pigeon nest right outside and there is no AC there’s only a ventilator. Looks like a timetravel to 60’s stay away from this place please book something else
