This was our fourth stay at the Christofero Colombo and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel itself is spotless and a very high standard, convenient for the Ancona ferry to Patras. However, what makes it really special is the staff, all of whom are friendly, efficient and welcoming. On our last stay we managed to jam our car's bumper into the trailer hook, resulting in a bevy of workers from the kitchen and reception coming to help us and lift the car to free it. All of this was done late at night with immense good humour and kindness. It was really more than we had any right to expect and we were touched and very grateful for the help we got from such lovely people.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff.
We have travelled from the uk to Greece by road twice. Both times we have stayed in this hotel down and back. What a joy! Lovely room, spacious with a huge bed, pet friendly, welcoming staff. Coming back this time we had a problem, to say the staff went the exra mile is an understatement.
This is by far the best hotel we've stayed in both times and if we ever do the trip again there is absolutely no doubt we would stay there again.
The hotel is a few miles inland from Ancona, easy drive to the ferry port. A wonderful hotel at a reasonable price.
Thank you to all the staff at this lovely, lovely hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Cristoforo Colombo on our return from Southern Italy. The hotel is located close to the highway, our room was spacious, clean, quiet and convenient, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast superb. We can recommend Hotel Cristoforo Colombo for a short stay without any restriction.

Clean comfortable rooms, with a balcony, and a bathroom window that opens. Excellent breakfast buffet: you can eat Italian style with small sweets and prosciutto, or American style with eggs and bacon, or both. Parking is a challenge at dinnertime or when there is a special event in the restaurant, but the hotel sent someone out front to direct people to parking places whenever it was crowded, rather than leaving us to fend for ourselves. The only problem I had is that each room is only on a 6-amp circuit (1300 watts) -- if you bring a hair dryer or a pot to boil water for tea in your room, you WILL blow the fuse, and get to tell the front desk and ask how to reset it.

Hotel located in a strategic position. Near Osimo, in addition to the possibility of visiting centers of notable interest, it also represents a useful opportunity to stop to divide long journeys. The room was clean (a little less so than the adjoining terrace) and the service was good. We had dinner at the restaurant attached to the structure with an excellent quality/price ratio. The staff at the reception as well as the restaurant and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The only really negative aspect is the assigned location, located on the mezzanine floor, with the chatter and noise coming from the restaurant located until at least 11.30 pm. Not exactly ideal for those who have to leave early the next morning. Overall a positive experience. I would stay here again, perhaps agreeing to stay on a higher floor.
