Perfect stay!
Very nice staff, young man at front desk I believe named Tobias was very helpful. Room are really very spacious. Breakfast was excellent plus location is central to all historic sites.

central Urbino in historic place opposite palace
really nice staff, excellent food (breakfast was a 10), as central as it was possible to get if you weren't staying with Federico de Montefeltro. Spacious room, full sized bath.

Under pillow -ed old fashioned room and some odd details like a key with a plastic holder uncharacteristic of a 4* hotel, Inner vista in a congested parking lot. Very helpful staff, essentially a one man show without a 24 hours reception or concierge. After ours you sneak through the unguarded patio car park which though hotel owned as it seems it is separately charged. Basic drawbacks of this hotel are: Interesting outmoded with unequal facilities -＞ large bedroom, pseudo matrimonial bed with two adjacent straw beds united, of varied flatness and leanings -＞ outmoded bathroom with Ideal Standard Linda fixtures, acrylic bathtub with shower enclosute clumsily fitted, slippery with mo safety handles or bars, fixture to lowly attached for shower use, insecure habitat -＞ interesting old fashioned window panes pertaining to an interwar country hotel -＞ garage view for most rooms I presume-＞ overornamented with pictorial art of not partucular aesthetic taste along the lounge corridors, little of lounge. Otherwise it is an axtraordinary building from the outside, discreet, charming and unobtrusive.

The location is great. The Urbino express train stop is just in front of the hotel as well as the palace and the Cathedral. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious.

It’s seems like this is a good hotel in the center, so we expected the service of 4 star - hotel.
But something went wrong:
First of all, our shower was broken from the very beginning. The shower holder didn't work. The hotel staff said they couldn't do anything about it.
agree, this is not the level of a 4 star hotel.
Then we discovered that some sockets in the room did not work. especially near the desk, but I needed to work with my computer and for me the presence of working sockets was very important.
after our next complaint about the sockets, the hotel staff also did not solve our problem. they only offered us to move to another room, but it was worse than ours.
in my opinion, after a number of such incidents, we deserved at least a discount, and at most, relocation to another nomnom (of the same category)

Great location for Urbino sights
Quiet room overlooking the courtyard/parking lot. Firm bed. Decent bathroom. Odd assortment of art in the room. Staff very nice and helpful. We did not purchase breakfast. There is a minibar fridge in the room. Excellent location to the museum and Duomo.
